This is an experience unlike any other! My best advice would be to plan on being there at least 3 hours. Once you get your bracelet, go to the screen to see each "room" better and what you are looking for. It helps to better understand what you are doing. Make sure you go to the theater when they announce it and stop and enjoy the live entertainment. It is hard with a large group so just know you will split up and want to do things on your own or in pairs. *You can take printouts home for FREE of the movie posters of yourself!* I wish I had know this and got them of my boys. Take it all in and enjoy!

If I could give 10 stars I would! The website says 2 hours but we easily killed an entire afternoon and into the evening. The staff, performers, and "Agents" we're all so kind and helpful when we got stuck on a few of the puzzles. The special effects are amazing and you can tell a lot of thought went into every aspect of each room. Your first 45 mins to an hour will be spent just walking around randomly scanning your wristband figuring it all out, but once it "clicks" that's when the fun really begins. You can go at your own pace and the anomalies (aka people dressed in costumes) are so much fun to interact with. The projection booth storyline was my favorite and is by far the most rewarding. Don't skip out on this hidden gem in KC! To Agent C-50; I hope I didn't scare you too much when I asked who I could report feedback too, I just wanted to pass on how wonderful the whole experience was for my kiddo. Thank you so much for a wonderful day!

While I love the concept, and the live performances were great at the Jazz club, I did feel a bit let down overall. To start, there is a lot of AI use, which is disappointing. This is meant to be an interactive art exhibit, and I feel like the AI art cheapens the whole experience a lot - this is especially apparent on the fake movie posters. You are also asked to take your picture at the beginning, this is so your picture can be used to generate AI images throughout the experience. Again, just felt kind of cheap. One area that I loved was the live performances. This included a saxophone player in the Jazz club, and live dancers there and in theater 9. They were incredible, and this was a highlight for sure. The staff was also excellent and super friendly. I also enjoyed some areas in the exhibit, like the arcade and the area with all of the toys. This does show that real artists were behind a lot of these rooms, which makes the use of AI even more disappointing. I will also mention that there is a lot of storyline and lore, which is great. But I was left a bit lost trying to find my way around, and at times I wasn’t sure what to do next. Overall, I hope that more can come of this, and they will hire real artists and get rid of the AI stuff. I think it has potential, and hope they can improve in these areas.

VERY COOL. They should offer an adult only time, that’s my only critique. The rooms are so cool, so in depth. We had two people and spent 2.5 hours, could’ve spent so much longer. Snack bar was great! The speakeasy was awesome but pricey.

Kansas City's Meow Wolf! Well, that's really not a fair comparison. While there are many similar creative similarities, Atlas9 encompasses more with live performers and a mystery you can follow your progress on with an integrated website app. Gorgeous! Beautiful artistry with technological flair! A interactive museum that is a feast for your eyes! Yes, you CAN get through this experience in 2 hours if all you want to do is explore and appreciate the art. But if you are really interested in "checking every box" (scanning and completeting each station) to solve the mystery, plan to be there for 4+ hours if you are determined, but likely all day if you want to ponder and stop for a drink or two in the "secret" speakeasy. (That door needs to auto close). $40 is resonable for a one time art walk-through, but if you want to come back and finish the mystery, the $150 annual pass may be a better fit. (Wish you could upgrade your first ticket.) Food, drink and adult beverages available, you can spend all day comfortably here. It will be interesting to see how the story/mystery changes over time to have you returning long term. A+! Good for kids and adults!

I went in not really knowing what to expect. I purposely didn’t look anything up beforehand, so I was a little nervous walking in. Thankfully, the staff is ridiculously helpful. They walk you through what you need to know and make everything feel easy. If I had one suggestion, it would be to offer a small detective style notebook so you can jot down clues, phone numbers, or anything that pops up while you’re playing. It would fit the theme perfectly. While we were there, they had live performances every couple of hours. One space had a live musician, another had a theater with dance shows. There’s honestly so much going on that we’re already planning our next trip. From an accessibility standpoint, everything I encountered was easy to navigate with a wheelchair. I didn’t try the restroom, so I can’t speak to that, but the rest was smooth. A few areas involve crawling into tunnels, but every one of those had an accessible alternate path. Even getting into the secret rooms was surprisingly simple. And I have to say, the whole place gave me major 90s nostalgia. Even the theater popcorn smell hit me right in the childhood.

It was okay. It was 300 for 6 of us. Its overpriced for the experience and the arcade is so small. The picture machine was out of paper for the pictures it took them 20 minutes to even reload it and so many pictures came out. Some of the rooms were nice but it was not worth the money and we won't return. I'd rather spend what I spent here at dave & busters or main event. There are no clear direction in how anything works or what clues to look for. They're were right vents to crawl through which is extremely uncomfortable. So much A.I. it's used here and I do not support A.I. by any means. Everything is overpriced here and I left feeling highly dissatisfied. The pizza 🍕 was really good though I must say but I would encourage you to save your money.
