Yucca Ave Public Beach Access

My friend and I had a great time in Surfside. The beach had a nice, lively crowd without feeling overcrowded. There was plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the day comfortably. Definitely a relaxing spot to visit.

As a venezuelan l was waiting since 3 months ago (lm new here at Texas) to go to a beach, not to compare with our beaches, but to enjoy the sun, the atmosphere, family gathering. We had planned exercise and stay about three hours, but we were about 6hours. We love the place, how well organized the parking lot, the place to stay, restrooms available, stores to buy what you need, and other services.

A cool spot where you can walk on the beach with your dogs, drive on the beach if you want, and enjoy the great ocean air. The water isn’t too cold if you want to hang out in the ocean as well! Not too crowded so a nice place to get away with your family and lots of rentals right near the water.

Gorgeous beach day. Beach was extremely clean, roads were perfect and groomed, bathrooms along the way are very clean overall great family outing we love coming down to this side of the beach. $12 entry free for the year this helps keep the trash off the beach and keeps the restrooms clean.

It's a nicer beach compared to Galveston. You get to drive your car onto the beach and park wherever you want after paying a $15 annual fee. We went on Sunday which was a little crowded. Weekdays have fewer crowds.

Wonderful place to visit the gulf. Cleaner and nicer than the beaches in Galveston. We could drive out onto the beach which was nice for taking a cooler and all the things we'd need. You do need a parking pass, however.

Bring $12 cash and you can return to park on the beach anytime for that calendar year! Super affordable, and it makes it easy to take stuff from your car to the beach. The beach is also well kept and clean. However, there are no bathrooms. This is perfect for a day trip.
