Jacksonville Beach Pier

Beautiful beach with great views, but be prepared for the weather. The air can get very chilly and windy, so I highly recommend carrying a jacket. If you dress warmly, it’s a perfect spot to relax and walk around.

It is $2 cash to walk the pier. It was a nice walk. Lots of seating. There were also a lot of birds hopping and flying around. The scenery was beautiful.

Love Jacksonville Pier and Jax Beach! Lots of parking. Not too crowded. The beach has baby powder soft white sand and crystal clear water.

Visited this pier last weekend and had a pretty nice time. The area was clean enough and the walk out over the water was relaxing. I didn’t catch much, but I saw a few people pulling in some decent fish, which was cool. The benches along the pier were handy and there were a couple of spots to tie up a small boat if you wanted. It wasn’t too crowded, which made it easy to find a good spot. Overall, a solid place to spend a couple of hours, especially if you just want to enjoy the water and maybe do some casual fishing. Would probably come back on a quieter weekday.

Jax Beach Pier is such a peaceful spot to visit! Whether you’re there to take in the ocean views, do some fishing, or just enjoy a walk, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The pier stretches way out into the water, giving you amazing views of the coastline — especially around sunset. It’s clean, family-friendly, and there’s usually a nice breeze that makes it even better. There’s a small fee to walk out on the pier, but it’s totally worth it for the experience. Plus, there are plenty of places nearby to grab a snack or just hang out by the beach afterward. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re visiting Jacksonville!
