Herring's House Park

Just discovered this park. Great place to sit and watch the boats dock and move around. Pretty nice natural trail circles the park. Not a ton of event space so it's a perfect spot for a quiet walk. Parking gates close at closing time so make sure your vehicle is out by then.

Very nice waterfront park with walking trails, a few picnic benches, and benches. Also has some history about the area so worth visiting if your nearby.

Quiet and beautiful green space by the Duwamish River. There are a major trail (part of the Duwamish Trail) by the road and a few shorter trails by the waterway. Nice views at the waterfront. There is an interesting sculpture at the southern part of the park. I had a raccoon encounter in the early morning, so look out for these surprising visitors.

Great hidden park on the Duwamish River. Wildlife on the left and industrial on the right. The park is clean and well maintained. Definitely enjoyed the reading the history.

Really chill place. I’ve had a lot of "fond memories" here. Lots of very nice, respectable people hang around here so I’ve had some fun memories.

Always clean and well maintained, never crowded despite bridge closure traffic, and beautiful to boot. As of 4/10 water spouts and fountains were on, too!

You need a tolerance for glimpses of heavy industry here. This park has a surprising number of little divergent footpaths, maybe a mile or more altogether. If you like to safely feel you are getting briefly lost, try walking here. Also home to a rarity in these parts: marshland, and attendant birdsong (or so it was right after a rain shower, anyway).
