Lakeside Retreats

Really cool hidden camping gem not too far from the city. This place not only has yurts, a sauna, a small lake and hiking but also a 9 hole disc golf course. Pretty awesome!

I attend this venue every year for an event called Oak City Shred Fest. The property is gorgeous, the staff is polite and personable, and I can't wait to return next year.

Highly recommend and I will definitely go again. I flew into RDU, rented a camper van, and heading to Lakeside Retreats on a 4 night camping adventure. I reserved one of the lakeside spots and stared over the lake envious of the yurts. But, I actually had the perfect setup and walking the property to explore was easy. There was music at night and the sound and lighting was extremely professional. Across from the lake the stage music was not intrusive. Next time I visit, my only struggle will be… deciding to rent a camper van again or try and reserve one of those yurts.

This property is so great for a getaway and glamping experience. The Yurts are super spacious and are right near the lake with beautiful views. The property is great to walk around and the whole experience was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Ive stayed 3 times with my family in 3 different yurts. They’re always clean and having bathrooms and showers available is always a plus. Def recommend for a little getaway.

We recently visited Lakeside Retreats. It was an amazing location and we will be back. They have yurts, glamping, outdoor and indoor showers, a sauna, a private lake and more. It was such an amazing spot! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet and fun stay in or around Raleigh.
