Hidden gem! Great spot for a picnic. That current on the river is no joke though. Be prepared!

The river in this place is too dirty to swim in,The place is quiet with few people, and it's nice to take a walk with the dog

Very nice and peaceful..only wish that ppl would cleanup after themselves... no bathroom facilities available...

This place is closed and fenced, and there's nothing but apartments all around it. There is no parking, so you risk having your vehicle towed if you park in the apartment's parking lot. So if there was a place to park I would highly highly recommend this place because it's an incredibly cool place to swim and to hang out. But since there's no parking anywhere nearby, there's no reason to go here. It should be marked on Google as closed to the public because there's no parking.

Trashy. Few parking spots but no cars allowed to the parking area when we visited in July. Overall a junky river beach that could be nice but I don't see how swimming in that river will ever be a good idea. Disappointed.

The City has abandoned this area. They have closed the parking area because of tragic drownings. They shouldnt stop responsible people from enjoying the area and water. it is very upsetting because this beautiful area should be accessible to the public.
