Beautiful trail around a beautiful lake! It's the first Minneapolis lake I fully walked around. It's very scenic, and a pretty easy walk. It's about three miles, so not ridiculously long, but not super short, either. The trails are friendly to pedestrians and cyclists. I hear that people roller skate around it, but I didn't personally see anyone doing it. The land around this lake is beautiful, as well!

The parkway is a beautiful ride anytime of the year. These crazies were so fun to cheer on.

Enjoyed the walk around the lake. It’s about a 3 mile loop. Pretty even and easy to walk.

Helpful staff and a beautiful lake. I started my ride from the first bridge located to the right of the starting point and explored the smaller part of the lake first. Then I turned back and continued riding along the shoreline. I saw tons of fish and got a glimpse of the lake’s depth — truly beautiful. It was a bit rainy, but I didn’t mind at all. 🙂

Nice paddle on kayaks. Left from north parking. Easy paddle to the canals. Nice paddle across all three lakes. Parking was reasonably priced and allowed for a short load out to the lake.

Went out on a paddle boat..... It was an amazing time! Perfect date..... The weather was perfect..... Just unforgettable! Thank you so much!

One of the best places to walk and see sunsets. Great for dogs to walk and swim. However there is often a lot of smoke smell which ruins the natural beauty. There are many ducks throughout the lake too and there are some playgrounds around the lake. Many restaurants nearby in walking distance.
