The Beach Waikiki Hostel by ALOH

My stay in this hostel was really good, the shared rooms are small however they are cleaned daily and there is enough space for luggage. The rooms have aircon which was super nice at night. The seating area outside the room is nice as well. |The staff were super friendly and helpful if you have any questions and the front desk is staffed 24/7.|The hostel has surfboards and beach stuff, e.g. umbrellas to rent or borrow which was handy.|The location is amazing it is super close to the beach and to bus stops. |It is a social hostel which is nice is you want to meet other travellers, there also have discounts for tours which is good. |There are laundry facilities which you can use for a cost and there are some kitchen facilities including a microwave, hot water etc. |Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and would stay again if I ever came back to Waikiki.

Zane was super friendly and super helpful! Some of the volunteers were a bit aloof. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The free beach gear to borrow was great! Location is amazing. We walked or took the bus everywhere. Definitely recommend this hostel! My friend and I are in our 30s and 40s and not into the party scene. There was definitely some lively partying going on if that’s what you want, but we had a great time, went to bed early, and never had an issue with noise or anything.

So I didn’t give any stars for the rooms. We didn’t actually get one so I never saw what they were like. However we (me 55,fiancé 53)took advantage of the the new "day traveler" plan. We had to check out of our hotel early and had a late flight out. We were able to use their facilities to shower, beach things, very nice commons area to relax. We were actually the first guests to use this plan. Staff was AMAZING. Very open and accommodating. Incredibly friendly. They really treated us well. Location was great. Two blocks from the beach. Lots of places to eat very close This place really helped make our last day so much easier and more comfortable. Thank you to everyone there

Very well organised hostel. Location is non plus ultra, very close to Waikiki beach. The staff is very friendly, fair and helpful. Many activities organised through hotel. Free macadamia nut coffee every day!

The BEST hostel experience I’ve ever had. The rooms are basic but clean and the facilities are great. They have beach stuff you can rent. The staff and everyone staying are extremely helpful and friendly. The roof is such a fun vibe as well! I stayed in a mixed dorm and ended up being the only woman, but the guys in my room were amazing! I cannot recommend this place enough—book ASAP because they fill up quickly (for good reason!)!!

Beach Waikiki Hostel is a truly special place with incredible staff, volunteers, and some of the nicest people I’ve met passing through every day. The location is amazing, with free breakfast, clean rooms, complimentary beach gear, and fun discounted tours available daily. The rooftop is a great spot to relax during the day and enjoy events at night. This was my first hostel experience, and I enjoyed it so much that I ended up extending my stay. Special shoutout to the staff—Zain, Ivory, Tim, and Royal—for taking such great care of me, and to the volunteers who are always happy to help or just chat. Beach Waikiki set the bar extremely high, and I can only hope my future hostel stays are as special as this one.

Loved it! Easy walk to beach and shopping. Very clean. Quiet time at 10 pm. No problem at all with noise or rousy guests. Great rooftop gathering area. Will come here again!
