Visited twice and both times there were 2 other people on the entire beach. The beach was rocky. But the view was beautiful. Water is clean. We saw a turtle one day on the beach. Saw chickens on the beach too. Its about 20minute walk from Kahala mall. Down a straight road pretty easy to get to.
Very beautiful beach with lovely palm trees. You can see many people taking photos here, but it is also not too crowded. Definitely recommend to pay a visit here.
Nestled in the upscale Kahala neighborhood, Kahala Beach is a hidden oasis offering tranquility and convenience. Despite its secluded charm, limited parking spaces ensure a peaceful atmosphere, making it a perfect escape from the crowds. This full-service park provides amenities such as showers, restrooms, and a picnic area, catering to visitors' every need. Whether you're lounging on the soft sands, taking a refreshing dip in the turquoise waters, or enjoying a leisurely picnic with loved ones, Kahala Beach promises a delightful retreat amidst the beauty of Oahu's coastline.
Nice and secluded beach with limited parking spaces. It is full-service park with showers, restrooms, picnic area for visitors. The beach area in front of the hotel is swimmable with gradual slope - other sections have shells or gravels. There are coconut trees lined up to provide background for beautiful pictures.
A beautiful, calm, quiet beach. The waves are mellow if you want to even call them waves. Great place to swim and never seems to be busy. The part in front of the Hilton has tons of shade and there is a bar there where you can get some adult beverages! Want to get away from the crowd? Don’t like huge waves or shore breaks? Want to just swim and snorkel in calm warm waters? This place will check off all the boxes.
Kahala Beach, located in the upscale neighborhood of Honolulu, offers a serene and less crowded alternative to the bustling Waikiki Beach. This hidden gem features soft white sands and calm, clear waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The beach is lined with luxury homes and resorts, providing a picturesque backdrop. Visitors appreciate the peaceful ambiance and stunning views, making it perfect for a relaxing day by the ocean. However, the beach can be narrow at high tide, and public facilities are limited. Overall, Kahala Beach is a beautiful spot for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty in Honolulu.
8/2023 Nice, low-key beach that doesn't get super inundated by tourists. Went because halalu was running and was a nice place to enjoy the day, the sun, and friends.
