Spacious and scenic getaway from the nearby airport while waiting for arrivals. Convenient restrooms nearby cell parking, and a beautiful bay view where you can watch the conoes go out on the water and breath in the fresh air. Plenty of grassy open areas for sports and picnicing with ample parking lots.
Nice big open park nice views and bonus watching all the planes landing and taking off
Very popular place for many people, often parents and kids with the large fields and rowing activities. Overall everything is well kept, but the roads seriously needs improvement. Every time I go here, the pothole keeps getting larger, and there doesn’t seem to be any indication that the city will fix it unfortunately.
Amazing views, water was a bit rough and A LOT of fish. I found the beach very rocky/ not smooth sand like others we visited but overall still beautiful all around.
The best pickleball courts on the island. The only thing missing is the court lights, so PLEASE CITY COUNTY PUT LIGHTS. Also, they could add more bathrooms. This park is used for canoe racing, rugby, cricket, and baseball. It is very well used and could use a little TLC.
I went to the park to eat a snack and take a shower before I went to the airport. The shower was push button, but it ran a while before I had to push the button again. There was a shady canoe races judges pavilion that was comfy for eating my snacks, and there were plenty of water faucets available.
Clean, ladies' room with lots of toilet paper, outside cold, water, showers, lots of trash bins to throw trash away. Not suitable for swimming, red dirt, fire ants (ick). Paddlers enjoy it mostly for parking, theur races, practice, and easy to place canoes slowly into the dirty water. Lots of homeless but they keep to themselves.
