Tenney Park Beach

Perfect spot for sunset in Madison! This park is cool...parking lot...playground Beach...beach volley ball... And amazing sunset spot! While we visit had wedding event there... So romantic and happy for them. Didn't see they restroom not sure they have it but we go back for sure!

Lovely beach and views to the north. Also has a playground, volleyball sand pit, and bathroom facilities. Update: the bathroom building does Not allow access any longer. It is such a shame that as a society we can't continue to provide services at our city parks.

Great urban nature spot for birding year round! Spring and Fall bring a surorising variety of migrating waterfowl.

The locks are lovely. The view is lovely, water clean. Way to go Madison parks/beaches!

The water is pretty decent, and the beach is a little rocky. When I went there were a lot of pesky flies which were kind of annoying. Besides that, it's a beautiful view.

Amazing place to put your feet in the water or swim. Lifeguard on duty with limited hours.
