Desert Shores

So took my wife to admire the ducks and geese here. The beauty of the lake and sounds of nature were amazing there is a pathway that leads to some fine dining and is great for walkers or joggers, alot of benches and places to unwind, there is one unhappy note they are stating to remove the beautiful grass to be replaced by boring gravel. Still you have ample parking and still can hear the ducks ducking.

Desert Shores in Las Vegas is the city’s best-kept secret—scenic, serene, and a total vibe shift from the Strip. Went for a family walk and stumbled on hidden lakes, lush greenery, and a peaceful escape I didn’t know I needed. Who knew Vegas had this kind of calm outside the strip?

The most beautiful places are right here by the water. You can sit on the benches, breathe in the fresh pine scent, and enjoy the view of the lake. Summerlin is a well-kept and very picturesque area

I just Love this lake it's so beautiful and peaceful. Nice to walk around and sit by the ducks.

This place came up when searching for local parks/walking paths, but as far as I can tell it's for residents only--all of the signage says "private" and there's only a small section of the lake that has a walking trail. Saw a patrol truck driving around and decided to leave before they towed my car or something.

Simply beautiful!!!! Definitely worth the money!

Love taking a night walk around the lake here. Dog friendly for smaller pups as everyone follows leash laws. Ducks and geese can be aggressive but they are so cute!!! ^^
