Residence Inn by Marriott Minneapolis Downtown at The Depot

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. From the very beginning, the front desk staff provided a warm and professional welcome, always showing kindness and willingness to assist. I would like to especially highlight the excellent cleanliness of the rooms, thanks to the outstanding work of the housekeeping staff, who maintain everything in perfect order with great attention to detail. Without a doubt, this hotel conveys comfort and hospitality. I am truly grateful for the service received and would highly recommend it.

This Residence Inn is in a great location downtown, withing easy walking distance of the Stone Arch Bridge. A really good coffee house is just down the street. The hotel is in a complex with another hotel managed by Marriott, so it's easy to access that hotel's restaurant and bar. Service was excellent. The room was clean, spacious, with a very comfortable bed. The complimentary breakfast is so-so, but there are plenty of other meal options in the vicinity. I was on the first floor, but my room was very quiet. I did not drive, so I can't speak to the parking arrangement. Really a great hotel for the money.

First of all I would like to thank the lovely staff who works here who went above and beyond with there service. I had to stay here for a month detail for work and they made sure I was well informed with things like restaurant close by, activities happening near the hotel and history about the city. There is a farmers market about two blocks from the hotel and also groceries places like trader Joe's and whole food. The rooms were big house keepers did a great job keeping the room spotless and bringing essential when I ran out of something.

Positive: The location was great. We loved walking around the mill district and across to St. Paul. Parking was really convenient and easy in and out. The room was nice, the pool was useful to have, and the breakfast was solid. Plus it's dog-friendly! Negative: We got a one bedroom suite as we were traveling with our infant. I expected it to be larger than the regular rooms, but it was pretty much the same size, just with walls around the bed. It worked out, but we had to rearrange furniture to fit the crib.

The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful and happy! Our group met in the lobby to play cards and have dinner at the end of the night. Hector made sure we were set up - wine opener, plates, silverware, etc. We had a great time!

Service and staff are top-notch. Hector, at the front desk, is as convivial and welcoming a host as I've encountered in 35 years of world travel. The breakfast staff, (and the breakfast itself) was exemplary. The only drawback to this property is the totally unacceptable internet. At a measured average of less than 10 Mbps down, it Is shameful and useless to any reasonable guest. Even the TV transmission is stuttered to an unwatchable degree. I can only hope this is a temporary situation, but I was here for 5 days, and it never improved.

This Hotel is amazing, great location , walking distance from a lot of great stuff, easy location for Ubers to find you. Very clean , great environment. My favorite part the staff, specially Hector, friendly and always asking you if you need anything or if everything is good.
