Pamperin Park

Great place to escape to with the kids, even in winter. The nearby walks along the river are more than manageable, even with younger children, and the playground itself is clean and well maintained, close to parking and surrounded by nature.

This park is awesome! So much to do and see. Well worth the stop!

A Perfect Family Spot! Pamperin Park is a hidden gem for families! The kids' playground is fantastic — clean, safe, and filled with fun equipment that kept our little ones entertained for hours. The surrounding area is beautifully maintained, with plenty of shaded spots and benches for parents to relax while the kids play. We also enjoyed a peaceful walk along the scenic trails and loved the spacious rest areas with picnic tables. It’s the perfect mix of nature and recreation. Highly recommend for a family day out!

What a beautiful park! My wife and I went there to play Frisbee golf. There were lots of people out walking around. Lots of people talking fall photos. A wedding looked like it was underway. The old architecture in the park was very cool too! Also saw some ducks out for a swim. Enjoy the fall colors here while they last!

Really nice and spacious park. Love the river running through the park, kids have been known to wade in there in the summers. There's a playground, bridge and plenty of other spots within to explore. My friends wedding venue was held here and hundreds of families have picnics here every year.

My kids had so much fun here! The playground is great! I'll add, though, that I never went to the playground before. I've seen comments about how it used to be a wooden castle playground, which makes me sad that they tore it down. This playground is super awesome! But I love the uniqueness of the wooden castle playgrounds. I've made a point to stop at every one I find on our road trips. It would have been nice to check this one out while it was still like that. I also saw another comment about how there used to be more shade. I definitely agree that these newer playgrounds end up taking out a lot of the trees and so there always ends up being less shade, which definitely makes getting overheated more of a concern. Still, I really enjoyed this playground. And my kids had so much fun, too!!! My youngest was ecstatic about the ziplines! I would definitely recommend this playground to anyone. There is a lot of different fun stuff to do. It keeps you entertained.

Such a beautiful park on a nice day! It’s big, and has so many picnic tables! I loved walking around and checking out different areas. There is plenty of parking, shaded areas, a disc golf course, big playground area for the kids, sand volleyball courts, restrooms, etc.
