Potato Creek Public Beach

Nice place to visit close to South Bend, just about 20 miles away. But, not as good as I thought, the water in the lake was not clean, but still good. But the road leading to the place is really nice, specially it will look great during fall. The biking trail is also okay.

Great small beach especially for children. Does have a large amount of sea weed But to be expected for such a small fresh lake. Do you pay attention to the blue green algae levels to keep your children and pets safe

They could definitely use some extra shaded areas for the families that get out of the sun for a bit but other than that all of us had a really good time. It's a pretty good price for kayak and boat rentals. We rented one for a couple hours and it was nice.

Overall was good experience but it is not clean water and I did touch the water and sand also was not soft and nice, I like the kayaking experience.

Nice peaceful place to go kayaking. No motor boats. Really clean.
