Walker Ranch Park

This park is very nice and has very good play structures. Cushy floor for kids safety. There’s a nice walking and bike trails for adults and family with kids. Chirping birds and great grackle’s sound was amazing. Make us feel like in woods. Nice. This place has a place for birthday parties.

This is a very popular and busy park and playground. Parking is very limited directly in front of the playground, however, there is plenty of parking on the other side of park across the tall suspension bridge. Around dusk, lots of deer could be seen from the bridge. There are restrooms on site and a covered picnic area with grills. Many of the benches have shade covering.

Great and very clean park! Lots of walkers and bike riders and in the early mornings there are usually a few kids on the playground 🙂

This park is really safe for solo and family both. I go here for my evening run and I like it. Paved trail is well maintained, if you are lucky you will spot deers too. Parking lot has a lot of space. There is also a kids play area which stays busy always. They also have picnic tables.

Good park for walking and biking. I took some paths on my bike that were very beautiful. The terrain is a little tough at times if not on the paved trail but worth it if your in the area and just like to ride for the views.

This is, in part, A City Of San Antonio Senior Center and generally a great place to visit and make friends. Being a Senior, I'm a member who occasionally stops by to visit and have lunch & coffee. The photos posted are taken inside the really nice Seniors building. Peace✌️ Brian Bruce

Very nice park with clean restrooms and a sizeable playground for kids. Used this a starting point for two rides in different directions along the Salado Creek trail. Easy access from West Ave, though as of this writing, maps does not provide correct navigation guidance.
