West Coast Multihulls as a whole has exceeded my expectations before starting out on my education in sailing journey. The knowledge and experience I’ve gained with them so far has been worth every penny and having confidence on the water is really just invaluable. The captains/instructors teach in a very constructive way. I’ve felt comfortable every time and not scared out of my mind like I have with instructors from other companies in the past. Makes a huge difference! I can’t recommend them enough. The whole WCM team is outstanding and because of that, my husband and I have both become members. This is the right company for you if you’re looking for sailing experience. I promise!

Spent 2 days on the water with West Coast Multihulls and Captain Anthony to experience the sailing lifestyle. It was perfect. He let us learn whatever it is we were looking for, included a great 2 hour walkthrough with all of the boat information a prospective sailor would need! With 30+ years of experience in the area he also had great recommendations for ideas for picturesque spots to snap a photo to the best place in the bay to set the hook and have some burgers for lunch! Guided us to a great restaurant with amazing views at sunset and the best steak I've had in a while. Excellent experience. West coast multihulls made it an easy process and hire the Happy Captain Anthony next time you're in the bay looking for the best local captain around!!

Wife and I did the 7 day ASA 101, 103, 104 & 114 sail-cation out of Loreto and it was an amazing experience. From the first time reaching out to Guinevere through to the professional instructional sailing provided by Captain Chris our entire experience was one we'll never forget. Highly recommend WCM!

Returned yesterday from a 5 day ASA training course. The boat was incredible, the sailing was great and the instruction top notch. It's been many years since I was last on a boat and the instructor was incredibly patient and took time to teach every concept in detail. Michael took all the time needed to make things clear, and taught everyone equally well, regardless of their experience, age or sex. The provisioning was first rate and took into account the students' dietary needs. Absolutely recommend for anyone at any skill level.

Rented the Lagoon 420 "Hopena" for a multi day cruise from Marina Del Rey to Catalina Island. The yacht was in perfect shape, ran great and we had the best time! Can’t wait to book the next one!

I have been renting catamarans from West Coast Multihulls for many years now, primarily for my annual birthday celebration in February. Each year, we set sail out of the beautiful San Diego Bay for a whale-watching adventure, making unforgettable memories with friends. This tradition has become a highlight of my year, thanks in large part to the exceptional service and fleet provided by West Coast Multihulls. Their team is not just excellent; they go above and beyond to ensure each trip is special, whether it's for a personal celebration or a corporate event. The catamarans are always in pristine condition, and their knowledge of the area adds so much to our experience. I highly recommend West Coast Multihulls to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or just wanting a unique way to experience San Diego Bay. They truly cater to all kinds of events, making each one a memorable experience.

West Coast Multihulls is a very professional organization. I have just completed ASA 101, 103, 104, and 114 over the course of 1 week including 5 days on one of their catamarans up the coast to Catalina and back. Kudos to my instructors Ed (101), and Lance (103, 104, 114). They both are very talented, knowledgeable, and experienced sailors who know their craft and are well able to impart their knowledge to new sailors with confidence. Gunievere runs the office and has been great in keeping me informed over email and has answered all my inquiries in a timely fashion. One thing that really stood out to me was the fact that there were no hidden charges - that should be a small thing but I've had some pretty bad experiences elsewhere. All in all a first rate operation using excellent quality newer boats for training / charters. If you fly into San Diego (SAN) there is a Sheraton hotel over the road from the airport, about a 7 minute walk, and from there, the West Coast Multihulls office is about a 5 minute walk. If you are doing the Catamaran course (ASA 114) you will be able to stay on the boat the night prior to your departure which is nice. Southwest airline seems to have flights landing every few minutes... Highly recommended!
