Fascination Street

The event was so much fun, everyone was incredibly kind to me except for the door girl!! She was incredibly rude and impatient when I wasn't even taking long, I was shocked.. she seemed like she had beef with me and I was nothing but patient and kind with her. She was cruel to my friends too.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place ! however, it doesn't look like they're changing venues. *extremely* crowded. no where to put bags, bags will get drinks spilled on them. I watched a group get yelled at *several* times by the doorgirl outside and threatened to kick them out over stacking rocks. she thought they were vandalizing, she didn't go and see for herself, she didn't listen to anyone explaining to her that they were stacking rocks, she just kept threatening to kick them out (and I think mentioned banning them/police????) what a vibe killer. I get it's your job, but if the people 'vandalizing' are inviting you to see for yourself... then see it for yourself instead of continuing to threaten people who paid to be there.

The only good thing is the occasional good song. The club is tiny with hardly any seating. The regulars are uppity and pretentious; true to the Goth stereotype. It can take 45+ minutes to get a drink at times. You have to park blocks away from the venue. DJ's refuse to spin "cancelled" artists.

The door girl Heather is rude, hateful and exclusionary. Judges people without any basis. Definitely not so someone conducive to the scene. Prejudice door people are the worst.

Always a great time, and incredibly friendly staff! Love love!
