This area is fantastic for long runs over 10 miles. There are long drawn out stretches where you can run uninterrupted for a long time before hitting a light or crossing. It is also relatively flat making it ideal for neutral training. The park itself has great shade in the summer, an ideal place to warm up and cool down. Just make sure to bring lots of water with you, it is truly out in the middle of nowhere with nothing but business parks that aren't open to the public.

I've lived in Portland my whole life; there are so many great parks, and Kelley Point Park is one of my favorites: relaxing and beautiful in the warm months, haunting and beautiful in the chilly months. I love it so much I even officiated a tiny elopement ceremony right on the point, down in the sand! 10/10 spot for a quick wedding, do recommend 💍🥰

Tons of parking. Great views of both the Willamette and Columbia Rivers. Lovely trails. Easy access to the beaches. Plenty of picnic areas. Wildlife. Great for the doggos (but watchout for the coyotes).

Nice park. Plenty of places to set up for relaxation or fishing. Good place to fish from bank. There are a few bathrooms there and plenty of picnic tables. Good size grassy field for volleyball or other activities. Just bring a bug spray as mosquitoes like to party towards the evening 😉

Big beautiful park. There's no swimming but lots of dogs were enjoying the beach. Paved trail goes from one parking lot to the other through the park and we had to walk along the road to get back to the first parking lot because we didn't want the long walk back the way we'd come. Lots of picnic tables and the views were beautiful. We watched the tugboats pushing ships from The Willamette into The Columbia.

I love to kayak in this area. It’s is really beautiful. Very easy to get to and you can see wild life. I put in at the Slough and kayaking towards the Willamette and The Columbia. Then beach my kayak at Kelly Point Park to rest and eat.
