Rose City Yacht Club

I have been a member for 20 years. It is possibly the most economical YC I have ever known. The membership expertise spans the gamut of needs and we do the bulk of the work internally on a volunteer basis. This in turn keeps membership costs down and helps boating stay affordable. Through out the year there are many events for the entire family, including the annual "Lazy Daze" cruise in mid-summer.

Interesting to see all the positive reviews here because I just had a very different experience. I called ahead of time to several moorages along the Columbia looking for a slip for a boat I’m considering. I was told I could "stop by if I was on the water" by literally every single person I talked to. So stopped by on a small boat to check out the place and was accosted by some woman who refused to give me her name although I happily gave mine and explained my intentions. Before I was asked anything about my intentions I was told that it is private property and asked if I was a broker and asked to leave. I explained my situation again and I asked her whether or not she was the person I spoke to on the phone and she said "oh no that wouldn’t be me". This person’s assumptions and attitude ensured I’ll be mooring my boat somewhere else. Seems like the "DIY" and "friendly" reviews are for a select few. Be warned. Attitude is everything.

A "do-it-yourself" club with moorage, this marina has lots to offer on the Columbia River. Located at buoy 14 near the channel, the marina hosts a community of fellow seamen and seawomen, with many activities throughout the year from racing, cruising, to parties of various kinds. Family friendly as well as those single handling, the club offers many connections on all levels.

Very safe is two words I would use to describe this place got a gate out front that you have to know the password for and it's maintained by I don't know what you call him a harbor Master or a guy that watches over the place very clean and tidy well-kept there isn't garbage laying around or anything I would feel safe parking my car in the parking lot and being down at the boat for a while the docks are well maintained.

Very friendly, do-it-yourself, blue collar yacht club. Great activities year-round and family-fun outings! Always love our time here 🙂

Ill be racing on a boat moored here. Their security is so tight, so as a non member, its hard to get in to crew on a friends boat. Nice docks, nice clubhouse.

Secured parking lot, club house with a big kitchen and outdoor seating area. Down to earth club that has a great atmosphere.
