Great experience!!! All the staff was very accommodating and kind. The boat sailed smooth the entire trip, no need for Dramamine, or any other kind of sick sickness cure. The shows were fantastic, and the food was great! Only thing I would criticize is they charge for everything, drinks are expensive only one bottle of wine per person (no liquor). I still give it a 5 star though. Super relaxing.

Once you get dropped off, you can have the porters take care of your luggage. It was a smooth process, not too much walking, restrooms were readily available, and the dome is a sight to see. Not your typical Cruise Terminal. Embarkation was great, and although we were sad to disembark, it went smoothly as well.

Dropped off by Lyft $16 from Hyatt Long Beach. Dropped right at luggage Porter and he took our bags to be left at our room. Walked to entrance. We had signed up for early boarding so we walked right in. First stop is at a check-in table where they check ID (Passport, birth certificate, enhanced DL). Then, it’s through security, bags scanned, walk through metal detector. Then, you wait in the "park" (benches among plastic foliage, vending machines, restrooms). You wait for your group to be called (diamond, platinum, d5, etc.). Then you walk through the maze and up the ramp and on your ship! It went pretty smoothly as long as you have your printed boarding pass and proper ID and documents. Everything is in a huge dome on the Long Beach waterfront port where the historic Queen Mary is docked. Smooth sailing as long as you’re prepared! Enjoy!

What an amazing experience! The Carnival Cruise from Long Beach was organized, fun, and full of great energy from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the ship had tons of activities for everyone — families, couples, and groups of friends. The food was delicious, the shows were entertaining, and there were always things to do, day or night. Perfect place to relax, have fun, and make memories. If you’re looking for a great getaway with great service and endless entertainment, I highly recommend sailing from Carnival Long Beach!

Great food and service. I love the items your can buy on board and they're entertainment. There is always a fun time had on Carnival . Our Stateroom attendant Dewa was the best. He made sure we had everything we needed.

I honestly forgot to review this place. It was my first cruise ever. I could seriously live on a cruise ship. What a freakin blast! I literally walked past everyone when I checked in. This is why. I purchased the early check in part, because I thought with buying that early board thing you could really get in early. Well, we didn't. That's okay though. I rudely pushed past people to go to my room early. I find out that you could at least go directly to your room, per the early check-in. I apologized to the people I walked past and explained this was my first cruise and I didn't know what I was doing. They were very understanding and said that's okay because they did the same thing. Everyone including staff were absolutely amazing. I got so full of all the food. Again, absolutely amazing. Trust a newbie to cruising, you won't ever be disappointed. I had one too many long Island ice- teas and started sing the song from loveboat. I was hoping that the cruise was longer, but since being new I figured the 3 day trip would be perfect. Now I'm addicted. What an out of this world amazing time. Oh, I also arrived a day early and spent the night on The Queen Mary. Less frustration. Darn, I wanna go again!!!!
