Grizzly Peak

I never knew there was an actual peak! I walked up the side which was very cool but at the top there is a big electrical Tower surrounded by barbed wire, so that was less scenic. As far as I could tell there wasn’t a trail on there other side of the peak so I came back down the same way I came up.

Love this place. Such a great view of the east Bay and looking out towards SF. Sunsets and sunrises are beautiful here too. Definitely recommend this to anyone from the area or visiting.

Nice view up there when it is not foggy, you can see the entire skyline. Nice place to chill. Easy to park. There are a few spots with tree benches along the road. I like to hang there.

Go to hike from home. Great view of Berkeley, Oakland, Emeryville, the Bay, and of course Treasure Island and San Francisco. Added treat today was seeing fleet week aerial acrobatics.

Recently, I've been hitting up all the Vista points all across the Bay area looking for the perfect sunset. Among all the places I've been, this place ranks among the highest for metropolitan views of the sun setting over the West coast.

THE HUGE VIEW OF BAY AREA- OAKLAND, SF CITY AND SURROUNDING can be viewed from this high hill place. You can see Berkeley Marina, Oakland the Golden Gate Bridge and Bay Bridge. Tip-Bring warm jacket or something. Its cold all the time out here especially at the evening. Sometimes its foggy. sometimes the sky is open. Bring your loved ones or friends to take photo together. I usually come here for fresh air. Nice view all the time. You will love this place
