Oak Grove Picnic Area

My family and I have been to the brecksville reservation several times and have never been able to visit this place because it was always reserved. Take it from the photos. This place has almost everything a person would want from a park rental. By no mistake did I photograph two fireplaces twice. It has 4... The only thing I can think of that this place is missing is a playground. It only has a swing set. So bring toys for the field or ideas for hikes if you bring little ones.

Huge pavilion or up to a 190 guests. This picnic area is by reservation only. The pavilion has plenty of picnic tables with grills and four barbecue pits. Plenty of parking for all your guests. There is a ball field, a few swings and a walking path around the area. The path also connects to the AP path in Brecksville.

My husband and I got married at the Oak Grove last week. The pavilion and surroundings are beautiful, nestled in the middle of the forest. Because it was such an inexpensive venue, we were able to splurge on decor to really get the feel we wanted. We were able to really transform the space well within our budget. Truly, you didn't even notice you were in a MetroParks pavilion- It was magical. Lighting goes a long way in this space. The only real downer is the bathrooms- They're actually very clean and well-maintained, but we opted to rent a luxury bathroom trailer. Overall, I would highly recommend this pavilion- For weddings or any other event. I cannot imagine a better location- Our day was perfect in every way.

This pavilion seats 180. Has electric outlets × many...the toilet facilities are not flushable and no running water. (THERE ARE TWO FOUNTAINS AND A SPIGOT FOR FILLING PETS BOWLS) However, if you don't mind ROUGHING IT, the scenery is extraordinary.

Nice picnic shelter for large groups our company had a departmental picnic here. Bathrooms are rustic and there could be more of them for a large outing. Plenty of grass for playing games and the Pavillion has plenty of picnic tables

Went here for an event. Easy to find, lots of parking. The shelter was clean.

Awesome area for family picnics or gatherings.
