Pirate Water Taxi

We had a great time on the Pirate Water Taxi. All of the captains and crew were wonderful. Becca was lovely. Captain Eric made the ride entertaining and was very knowledgeable about the city. It was a beautiful day. The water taxis were clean, comfortable, and a lot of fun. The prices are reasonable. I really like that the wrist band provides discounts with their partners. I highly recommended taking a ride on Tampa Bay with them.

This was a fun way to see a little bit of Tampa via the water. There are 2 boat paths to start...Island Vs River....Island is more land/cruise ships/Port/Davis Island ....the River is how to get to restaurants/bars. If you are there sightseeing...both ways took about 2 hours round-trip...started on Island boat, stayed on the same boat and went the River path after...(though you can jump off whenever)...the Captain and Mate were nice and informative. Boat was clean. Drinks can be purchased on board.

Fun Day on the Tampa Water Taxi, With a Few Opportunities to Improve We had a great time on the Tampa Water Taxi overall. The boats themselves were solid, comfortable, and a fun way to see the city from the water. Our favorite part was the captain and first mate on the Boat — they were friendly, upbeat, and made the ride fun. If there’s one thing that could really improve the experience, it’s clearer guidance on the stops. When we asked where we should get off, the crew didn’t really explain what each stop offered. It felt like we were expected to already know what was at each location, which made it harder to choose. A quick rundown of "here’s what’s at this stop" would’ve been super helpful. Overall, still a fun way to explore Tampa — just a little more direction would take it from good to great.

Experience the haunted, pirate water taxi tour and had so much fun! Our tour guide was amazing. Learned some fun facts about the area and had a great time with our friends. Highly recommend this for seasonal activity and love the pirate water taxi throughout the year - convenience and relaxation to get around the downtown area!

Rode the island and river boats in the day and evening and had a great time of it! Got some fun info, kids loved all the animals we saw (got a glimpse of a dolphins), and the views were amazing. Plus just a fun way to get from the wharf to armature works and back. Would recommend this as a tourist to-do any day.
