Stanbery Park

Always a beautiful hike. Playground is nice. Clean and parking is good. Bathrooms available Come and play in the creeks for hours

Playground was nice and clean, for ages 5-12. Very visible to the parking area.The circle is 0.13 miles. One trail that loops around the park. There are restrooms but I did not go inside. There's a covered pavilion with picnic tables a short walk from the playground. *On this visit there were two people who had started a fire (not contained) in the pavilion. I tried to call the phone number listed for the park but there was no answer. I do not recommend coming here alone. Bring a friend if you're bringing your child here to play.

My 10 year old son found and picked up a discarded syringe to show us near the shelter, and multiple old empty bottles of whiskey. The natural aspect of the park was nice. There was not a lot of litter, but there was enough to be troubling.

Love this park. Paved paths, big hill to roll or sled down, and beautiful forest trail to follow. Caution: trail crossed the creek twice, still muddy 2 days after rain.

One of my favorite parks in the city! There is a nice flat walking trail, playground, and seasonal toilets. There is also a huge amount of woods and creek you can hike through, with challenging and easy pathways.

Really enjoyable park with trails through the woods, streams, good places to picnic, a solid playground for the kids, and a great sledding hill. If you enjoy the outdoors this is a great spot to check out!
