My husband and I visited Boyce Park on Valentine’S Day for snow tubing. We purchased our tickets in advance (tickets on sale 2 weeks before). There were ample tubes available, they had several lanes open to tube down. The young men working the magic carpet & tubing lanes were kind and worked to get get us down the hill safely and quickly (literally!). I appreciate them & Boyce Park for hiring people that make the experience enjoyable. Skip tubing at the big resorts and come here.
It is a wonderful place to take your family in the winter time to go skiing snowboarding or tubing. It is a fantastic Hidden Gem just Northeast of Pittsburgh nestled in the Rolling Hills of Western Pennsylvania. It is a must to go have fun in the winter without having to go clear to the mountains. They have their own snow machines lined up on each slope so snow is never an issue. I believe the snow was almost 6 ft deep at the snow tubing slope where we went but we are definitely going to go back and ski they have a couple different slopes along with some obstacles for snowboarders. It is very affordable however I will say that you are best to at least book your tickets a week in advance if you're planning to go because it is so popular and rightly so what a fantastic place and they also have a lot that sells food add hot chocolate what more could you ask for!!
Great Park with a great trail system for biking, hiking and running. If you’re new to the place there are a lot of intersections so it’s easy to get turned around. Lots of parking.
Boyce Park is a fantastic spot for outdoor fun! We went ice tubing there, and it was an amazing experience. The park had well-maintained lanes and the thrill of speeding down the hill was a blast. The staff was friendly and ensured safety while keeping the atmosphere fun and relaxed. The park itself is beautiful, with plenty of space for other activities as well. Definitely recommend Boyce Park for anyone looking to enjoy some winter fun—ice tubing is a must-try!
It’s wonderful place for everyone we had a lot of fun with friends and families.
We've come here several times for tubing and always have had a great time. When we came today there was a "sell out" crowd. The high number of people resulted in a 10-15 minute wait at the top of the hill before each run. They need to come up with a system to get folks down more efficiently or limit to a smaller crowd.
We are renting this place out for my daughters bridal shower. With the ability to have liquor it is $490 which is a bit pricey but you get the whole building more or less. There is so much room it's unbelievable. The top floor has many tables and chairs with windows that look out on the ski slope. There is a kitchen with a refrigerator and sink that can be used. The refrigerator only had two shelves though so I can see that being a problem with the food we need to bring. There are then steps that go downstairs that lead to the outside patio where you will find many picnic tables and have space for outdoor games like cornhole, ladder golf etc. They do get booked up. We wanted a Saturday in August but had to settle for a Sunday. There are ceiling fans but no air conditioning. Visiting this place in February there wasn't a problem but I am desperately hoping with the shower being in August that it is not too hot in there. The tables here though are the long banquet tables. Keep that in mind if you wanted to use nice tablecloths.
