Van Dorn Park

Amazing place for a nature walk early in the morning or during the sunsets.

LOVE this park from my childhood! Great up grades with the bike stuff and swings.

The enclosed shelter was clean. The playground outside of it was great The kids enjoyed it. The only problem was other visitors in the park came in and used the restroom like it was a public bathrooms. This made some of the people in our group uncomfortable.

In addition to the standard park areas there are plenty of more woodsy areas in the back and a walking tunnel under Van Dorn to avoid heavy traffic. It's a great place to get your dog some wilderness time without having to leave the city.

Rented the cabin. Air-conditioned with modern bathrooms and sinks. Plenty of room for our 50 people. Tables and chairs provided. Easy to get to and not a lot of traffic coming by to bother you for the bathrooms. Easy clean up instructions. Very friendly people.

Van dorn Park been a long time since I've been there. But it was a nice park to go visit when I was young. I do like the bicycle trail Don't remember that from when I was young ? But that's pretty cool. I do suggest they should cut the grass a little bit more often. All of it.
