Community Center, beach, and boat ramp

Waking up early has its perks. I spent a quiet, beautiful morning at the lake. There was some man made trash near the water but, mostly just natural beauty.

We were here in late October during the pandemic. Nobody here enjoying the beautiful scenery. Boat ramp empty. No fee to enter. Not sure if that’s everyday though.

Spring is not the time to come here. You could take a boat out in the parking lot, the pavilion was covered with water all the way to the roof. Had to climb a tree, but the sunset was nice!

Nice setting for family functions.

Went here for a family reunion and although it rained that day there was such beautiful scenery. The room reserved was very open and efficient with a kitchen area and bar. The natural lighting with the wall to wall windows made for a perfect setting.

Closed...I did visit to show a perspective newcomer to the Raleigh area good places to boat without driving too far from home. Place is charming and beautiful, comfy and warm for families or just husband and wife. No photos taken.
