Hanes Mall

This is my second visit to this still EXTREMELY busy mall. When I went on January 3rd at about 3pm, the parking lot was absolutely loaded. Having to park back 25 rows because every spot is full is a great thing for this mall. Inside, there is just about anything you could need, from Hot Topic, H&M, Gap to Eddie Bauer, a huge food court, and three gigantic department stores to fill your needs. There's even a USPS store inside. Except for two wings once anchored by a big department store, there's no dead areas in this mall at all. There's very few empty stores here as well. One note is that JCPenney is the "middle" anchor store and so you will have to walk THROUGH JCPenney to get to the other half of the mall where the food court is (if you came in by Belk). Overall, this mall is fantastic. It's super spacious, was extremely clean, and had many kiosks, a merry-go-round, vending areas, plenty of benches and seating throughout. There was even a train roaming around the second floor! Incredibly neat. There were a lot of security guards roaming around as well which is a nice bonus for how busy this mall was when I went. If the two (of five) anchor stores that are closed off from the mall were to ever reopen as something else, the business of this mall would continue to rise.

Nothing like going to the mall right before Christmas doing last minute shopping. This is a two story mall. The place was decorated nice for Christmas. This place has a lot of stores. There is a little something for everyone to be found here. Lot of food options in the food court and outside the mall. Getting in the parking lot can be tricky.

Overall, this mall is fantastic. Hanes Mall is huge!! It could use some updating though. The parking lot has some huge holes that need to be repaired and the carpeting inside the mall needs to be updated too. There are quite a few stores inside and they all seem to be in good repair. It's still a nice place to shop or just to go and walk around and stretch your legs. I would definitely recommend that people stop in and support the stores inside.

Haven't been here in a few years. JCPenny was good, as were Spencer's Gifts, Hallmark and a few of the clothing stores. But the Christmas decor was not as good as usual . Old Navy was a wreck. Not nice at all. The mall just needs more business and a better variety of stores like they use to have. It would draw more revenue if they had better variety. Overall it is still nice and was a pleasurable experience

This malls outside needs a major cleaning & needs to be updated, especially the area where the entrance is to the food court is etc, it's filthy! It's Not the mall it use to be. There are hardly any stores that really matter anymore except the major anchor stores that keep the doors open. My family that was visiting from out of town, that actually use to live here was shocked at how bad it has gone down and no lack of maintenance thereof! I was told you all own one of the major malls in Greensboro, NC. It doesn't like Hanes Mall in Winston-Salem, NC., it actually looks a whole lot better! Why is that? 🤔 Please bring Hanes Mall back to the standards it use to be!

I love Hanes mall. I buy all of my clothing here. And enjoy seeing folks, families enjoying shopping. My only negative is the dwindling number of soft chairs to sit on. I'm old and it is wonderful to be able to sip a latte and people watch. The benches suck and the food court chairs are just that. So more soft chairs please!
