Dog and kid friendly place. Beautiful views. Playground does have thistles and a large drop on the one slide but otherwise nice playground. Bathrooms for use in warm months but I can’t speak on their status. There is marmots. They are kinda cute.
Very cool historic park in the east side of Spokane, at the foot of Beacon Hill. An awesome historic granite field house has public restrooms. Old tennis courts and playground. Parking, big open lawn space. I think there’s a ball field with backstop. Nature trails begin/end from here to Beacon Hill, a great walking, running, biking etc space with plenty of city views. One of the nostalgic parks in Spokane, untouched by modern upgrades. Visit and explore, take photos before the new Parks Levy renovates this slice of Spokane history.
Nice place to walk. It's nice to get up in elevation and see the city. Usually run into people so it's fairly busy. There are homeless people around so stay aware but I've never had any issues except the occasional conversation with a crazy person but that's fine I'm a little crazy myself.
Minnehaha Park in Spokane is an absolute hidden gem! It's a stunning park tucked away from the usual spots. I've been a Spokane resident my whole life and was pleasantly surprised to discover this place. I had a fantastic time at the nature workshop hosted by the Botanical Alchemist. I also hold hope that, in the future, the western area can be revitalized to accommodate activities like roller skating and other events. 🌿🌳
Nice park with trails, a small playground, and a baseball field. The tennis ball court is very run down and there are no working restrooms. There is parking on the East side of the park.
It's a great Park. Pretty close to the city. Went into the street but you can do some climbing if you don't have much time to go too far away from the city which is great
Went there and ate some food we picked up on Halloween night. Walked around and took some pics. It's defintely got a spooky vibe at night. We didn't hear any laughing, but strange occurances. There was a red flashing toy right in front of the buildings door that never stopped blinking..We thought we seen a person walking in the tree line, but noticed later a deer in that direction? Also a dog who ignored us and made a straight shot to the tree line, then to the playground, then left. He was a few feet away but never acknowledged us. Also a random cat in a tree. Idk the whole thing was strange and felt off. Some pics I randomly took that night.
