Heartside Park

This park is where all the homeless people gather. Im happy that there is a place for them to congregate and meet but unfortunately it doesn't stay very clean.

Went to the Food Truck Festival at Heartside Park. It was a windy day but a nice event. The food was delicious and I loved that they showed the movie Food Truck. Just wished I knew to bring a chair or I would have stayed longer. I also read on the website dogs would not be allowed, so I left mine at home. I think most of the people who stayed to watch the movie either had a dog or a child. I hope the Food Trucks become a more regular publicized event.

This is a great park in the middle of the city but unfortunately it is one of the places where our unhoused members of the community are welcome, which is very needed an important, but it takes away from the park as I will not take my children to it because of what is seen and heard while there. This leads to an experience that is not enjoyable, from trash and solicitation for money. Relaxation and recreation are not possible with nearly every amenity in full time use by the many people who stay there all day. The pavilion is always full of people and every bench. It serves a much bigger need for our community than being a park. This place is vital for this population to have a safe place to be.

Be careful. Lots of violence in this area. If you have children just pick a better park

Beautiful Park! We enjoyed the food truck event. Great People. Lots of food choices, long lines. Great Music. There were lots of places to sit.

The grounds are nice and so are the people. It's a special park

This is a place were help is handed out to people who are in great need! The homeless of the city can gather here to get the best free chili lunch on Wednesday,🍲🧘🙏,the homeless n needy can get a meal,maybe some sweets,snacks,gloves ,hats socks, water etc, they also have *Red Project*who provides clean needles,and other safe NEW drug parafinalia products to help keep away disease and infections for any n all addicts free of charge also**Narcam* a opioid blocker that anyone can use to save and overdose victims life!!also you can visit with your grandbaby's instead of a shelter👩‍👩‍👦‍👦👨‍👧‍👧
