Oceanside Pier (Boardwalk)

The Oceanside Pier is a staple tourist spot in San Diego. There's so much rich history along the pier. It's so well constructed that it can withstand whatever Mother Nature throws at it. Filled with people from all walks of life. There are actually fishing stations on the pier, and you can fish without a license required. Below the pier is the well maintained beach. On one side, surfing is permitted. The other side is where people swim and enjoy the seashore. Vendors are plentiful and provide food and beverages. This place is magical. A must see! Loved it!

It's always great to visit the pier. You'll see great views and spectacular sunsets and sunrises. Great place to go fishing for cheap and get good advice from the many others fishing there. Really variety of fish to catch, croakers, spotted fins, shark, herring, and crabs and lobster. Tons of cool seagulls, some with only one leg. The occasional sea lion, and lots of dolphins. It's a great place to visit, there also buskers, food sellers and some colorful and harmless crazy people. A nice place to relax or bring a date.

Visited Oceanside Pier and watched a stunning sunset – absolutely beautiful! We chatted with some friendly locals who were fishing, which added a nice touch to the experience. The boardwalk has a chill, laid-back feel. Perfect spot to unwind and soak in the views!

They have parking lot and a lot of options for a family and for recreation . it’s perfect for pictures, videos, and a good day with the family and friends. that was very clean and I really strongly recommended.

What better place to walk, enjoy the views, and eat some good food? From events to just fishing, it's always a fun time to enjoy a beautiful day! Brine box has amazingly fresh food to enjoy at the end of the pier, (old Ruby diner) or the Tin Fish at the beginning of it. You haven't enjoyed Oceanside if you haven't walked the boardwalk. Beautiful pier! Great for fishing. There is a little restaurant on the pier and a few restaurants and places to eat at the pier entrance. There is a very nice children's park an picnic area. There is a paid parking lot at the pier entrance $10 for all day, handicap park free! Beautiful beach!
