Daniel Island Ferry | Daniel Island (The Waterfront on DI)

What a perfect and relaxing evening aboard the Daniel Island Ferry! Our hosts Colby and Iris were fantastic! We were treated to delicious food from Rodney Scott’s Barbecue and a leisurely boat ride around the tip of the peninsula and back under the Ravenel Bridge. The views did not disappoint! We went on the dolphin cruise out of the Charleston Waterfront, and we saw dolphins before we even left - up close too! The entire experience was incredible. The captain was not only super friendly but also extremely knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts about the area and wildlife throughout the trip. There are drinks available for purchase on board, which made it even more enjoyable to sit back and relax while taking in the views. In addition to dolphin tours, they also offer sunset cruises and convenient trips between Daniel Island and the Charleston Waterfront. They even stay open to shuttle guests to and from concerts at Credit One Stadium. We’ll definitely be booking again. Such a fun and easy way to experience Charleston from the water!

I was in Charleston on vacation with friends and we took this ferry out into the harbor (?). We had so much fun. The guided tour was great! They were diligent at keeping their eyes open for dolphins and we were able to see some. Totally recommend. Oh, and there was a doggie!

We took the dolphin sightseeing boat ride, and it was amazing! The crew was very friendly. We did indeed see multiple dolphins and would for sure consider doing this adventure again I would highly recommend!

Is was an amazing day!! Sunshine, good friends, and the breeze in my face. Daniel's Ferry was very accommodating when the initial tour was misdirected. Awesome guy, waited at the taxi pickup area to retrieve me and my friends after being dropped in the wrong spot by uber, lol! Saw wildlife swimming through the tour and spectacular views of the sunset! Definitely looking forward to returning to Daniel's!🤘🤘
