Had a wonderful cruise to the Bahamas. It was our first cruise, and we were happy with how everything went. We had an awesome crew and a good selection of food to choose from. Cute towel animals every day and so many different shows to see from comedy to dance and trivia. There are lots of activities to do even watching a movie every evening on the biggest screen I've ever seen!!! 🤣 🤣 They had a kids camp, its daycare type deal for the parents to enjoy themselves while the kiddos are playing and doing crafts, etc.Lmao Sad, they won't be using the port in Charleston after the beginning of the year. It was so convenient for us. We were on the Carnival Sunshine, we had a great experience on this trip.
It was a great trip overall on the Carnival Sunshine. This was my first cruise with Carnival after having been on two cruises from Disney and Royal Carribeans Symphony of the Seas. It was packed at times which is to be expected when cruising in July . Getting off of the boat was a smooth process and the Carnival Hub App made the cruise efficient. We did have an alcoholic drink and a bottle of wine charged on our account that we did not purchase . One of the incorrect charges has been fixed thus far. Definitely have to pay attention to what is being charged onto your account to make sure it is accurate. It was a great trip overall , the cruise director James love was great , and it was worth it.
We traveled to Naussa on a five day cruise and it was amazing. Check in took a little over an hour. We had drink passes, so once onboard, we hit the bars. Arrived around 8am. On board before ten. We had access to our room by noon and left the port by 3 pm.
There are many cons I could post about Carnival Cruise Line. But, I will save my opinion for their website site posting. Immaculate pictures can be taken of the open seas when cruising. It's the most extraordinary scene ever.
I really had a great time on this Cruise Line & the port here in Charleston SC has made things so much better since it's so close to Columbia. I hear they will close the port here in 2024 which is a bummer. Not sure I'm willing to travel all the way to FL for a cruise so I'm going to enjoy them while I can. The food was great on the ship & I'm looking forward to cruising again soon.
We had to wait outside the gate until the other passengers left. Then we had to get in lines to pay. After that you stop at a tent to drop off luggage then park. You go to one building to check in then get bussed to another building before finally reaching the ship. It was a little hectic but when we got off we got on a bus where they sit all your luggage outside then you find it and go straight to the car. Very nice ship but boarding is a little frustrating
1 star for port of Charleston onboarding - prepare for a marathon! Off-boarding was rough as well. 4 star for Carnival Sunshine - first time on this ship, great staff & wonderful experience. *ONLY ISSUE was the smell by the ice cream machines 🤮🤮🤮 definitely smelled like where the Sun DON’T Shine ‼️‼️ Hope they solve that issue soon!
