Six Mile Waterworks Park

Fall 2025 picture perfect! The trails are nice and beautiful scenery to hike. The trails are well maintained. They also have picnic arra and lots of people fishing.

Great peaceful place to fish restrooms, hiking trails, bike trails, playground grills provided, picnic tables , restrooms with running water. Family friendly & fun. Come out while summer lasts.

Went during a weekday in October. So pretty and peaceful. There’s a decent sized playground, ample parking, and lots of seating by the lake. The area was very clean. There are a few short nature trails by the picnic tables.

This was a really nice trail. I wasnt too fond of the paved section and it was a bit loud with the thru way traffic. Over all it was a great trail. I saw some ducks and geese in the water. The trail itself is very well kept. Took a few pics. It was kinda cloudy today. Went a few more times to this trail. Added more pics.

This is a great little playground and park! You’ve probably passed by it a million times but it’s the last exit on the fuller roundabout. There’s a nice reservoir and few trails to walk along. Lots of picnic tables and benches. Great for kids!

I've been a regular visitor of this park for most of my life. I love to kayak here when I'm limited on time and just want an easy trip. There's some playground equipment, picnic tables and walking paths. Watch our for ticks, as this is prime territory, as all spring woods outings are. There are bathrooms, but usually dirty. Better then none. I think the city of Albany maintains them 🤔 well. Unfortunately, a busy day there of uncaring,disrespectful, visitor's creates a mess. Good spot to bring lil folks for a few casts. Small pieces of live worms work well for pan fish. Look around on trails for turtles, frogs, birds, and many small mammals which are always around. Worth a trip if you live close, otherwise not more then a 20 minute drive.

The pictures look good but once you go there, you'll change your mind. Only one closed off space for picnic. Really small park. Definitely not at the top of my list for next time.
