Signature Inn San Jose

I stayed at the Signature Inn over the weekend of 2/13. The hotel is in a convenient location right near downtown with plenty of restaurants nearby. However, the hotel itself was lackluster. When I first checked in I was met by a man who was not friendly, like I was bothering him by needing help. Every day when I came back to my room, the only thing that was done in terms of cleaning were the bed sheets getting replaced. There were no new towels and the shower and sink were not cleaned. One day I had to request another towel and I was given two bathmats. The room itself was also not good. The mini fridge did not work at all and the comforter on one of the beds had holes in it. There was also visible dirt and debris on the corners of the room and I didn't feel comfortable walking around in the room barefoot. If you're looking to stay somewhere for a weekend trip like I was, I recommend looking elsewhere. Signature Inn was quite disappointing and there are plenty of other hotels in the area worthy of your patronage.

This is fine for what you pay. Room is clean and staff are very friendly. Room is convenient for San Jose. Just a little noisy if your room is on the road.

I did not enjoy my stay at the Signature Inn. The room itself was dirty and grimy. The staff was very rude and condescending. The area itself did not seem safe and was very shady, at times feeling unsafe at night after attending meetings. Also, the things listed on the amenities list (such as breakfast) were not provided. I was basically lied to. I was traveling solo, but anyone traveling, whether it is solo, and definitely if as a family, should not consider this place. San Jose itself is a great city and there are various activities and events going on, but this should NOT be the place you stay.

We were only in san jose for a couple hours for an event and got a room for 5 hours to sleep thinking it was going to be a good stay. However when it came to check out they told us that my $100 deposit would be deposited back into my bank account within 1-3 business days however after a couple days went by I checked my account and the money was still not returned so I gave the hotel a call to which they told me the room was in horrible condition and damaged which was simply untrue. As a result they told me that if I wanted to dispute the issue I would need to come in and talk about it face to face which is completely unrealistic and overall they were very rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend you stay. I lost $100 but I learned that this place is not one to trust and they steal money unfairly.

The room was lovely. It got remodeled. Facility looks great (now) but cant escape its past! The staff was just okay, did the job but I just feel something is OFF with this place & fresh coats of paint isnt going to fix that. Speaking of paint they painted 100% of the sidewalks "gentrification grey" & when it rains thats a serious slip hazard.

The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and have been refreshed. The breakfast is not breakfast so bring your own. You should also bring toiletries. Below is a pic of the "toiletries" The location is in the flight path for the San Jose Airport. The Jets fly right over the hotel. They started between 6 and 6:30 every morning.
