The Central Station Memphis, Curio Collection by Hilton

Positive: The Memphis sound Curious theme is superbly executed and the train station motif just works. Negative: The lighting in the room is poor and inconvenient.

The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoyed the quesadilla, and I would definitely recommend trying it. While the rooms were clean, they did feel somewhat dated compared to what I was expecting. The bar, however, had a very modern and trendy atmosphere.

This is my first time staying here and the rooms are very nice. I had a suite with sitting area. Its spacious. The help desk folks were very helpful and nice. There are a few things to mention. The rooms are cold and a pass code is needed which engineer has to unlock for you to adjust. Which they did. Parking is $28.00 a night, too high.

The hotel is located right at the train station, and so is perfect if you are catching the AMTRAK. The rooms were pleasant and the staff were friendly. The bar is very trendy though was understaffed and so whilst we were there, it took ages to get served.

This hotel absolutely refuses to recognize statues, if they did I would have at least got a better view (extremely disappointed with this view). I booked this Hilton property months before arrival through the American Express FHC program because I was a Gold member with Hilton and they gave me the worst possible room on the property. Breakfast the next morning (2/15/26) was over a hour late showing up to work. I had to contact the hotel about my bill 2 times because they forgot to include the $100 property credit, but they finally corrected it. I have since canceled my Hilton credit cards and moved my spend to the Marriott and IHG credit cards and properties where they recognize loyalty and treat guest accordingly. Never again @ Hilton.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Central Station Hotel. The location is absolutely charming, right across the street from the iconic Arcade Restaurant, which has been around since 1919 and was even a favorite of Elvis. Such a fun piece of Memphis history to have steps away. There are also a few cute little shops nearby that make the area feel lively and walkable. The hotel itself is beautiful and unique, with a vibe that feels both stylish and welcoming. The rooms are on the smaller side, but once you settle in, it’s easy to get past that — everything is thoughtfully designed and comfortable. Most importantly, the staff was incredibly sweet and polite, which really made the stay feel special. We would definitely come back and stay here again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something a little different with lots of character.

Very nice hotel. I feel like the room could have been cleaner. The shower had smudges on the doors and grim on the floor. Loved that there was a club inside the hotel and we were not bothered by the music. The location is spectacular. Not far from several restaurants and the trolley is right out the front doors. Staff were nice and accommodating. Christmas decor was beautiful. The train is literally 35 feet away from the hotel.
