Positive: The staff friendly, breakfast was fresh and hot, location was great, free shuttle to Graceland. Despite the things that didn't work or were broken, it was an overall good stay. Negative: Many things not working. Ice machine on our floor didn't work, shades would not go up or down without great difficulty, the phone cord had been cut so couldn't call down to desk.

I have been a Hilton Diamond and Gold and staying in these Holiday Inn Expresses is causing me to change. This location has wonderful staff, even the early morning/over the night crew is great. I did not try the breakfast, but the greeting cookie was nice. I'd like it a bit closer to the airport, but they offer shuttles so its no big deal. FYI, the rib joint down the street offers free pick up and drop off in their pink caddy-suggest a couple buck cash for tip. The TV was large and easy to use. I stayed at the hotel for two nights, and the staff at the Holiday Inn were extremely friendly and professional. We checked in around midnight, and the overnight front desk clerk was both efficient and welcoming. In the morning, the two women working the breakfast buffet truly made us feel at home—they went out of their way to make the morning feel special. Kudos to the entire team. The hotel itself is fairly standard, but the staff elevates the experience and makes it a much better place to stay.

I have stayed at many hotels over the years while traveling for work, but I have never experienced the level of kindness and genuine hospitality that I received at the Holiday Inn on Elvis Presley Boulevard in Memphis. Ms. Tara welcomed me Monday evening with such warmth that it immediately set the tone for my stay. At breakfast, Ms. Michelle and Ms. Duffie went above and beyond to ensure I felt cared for and comfortable. Their friendliness, attention, and sincere kindness truly stood out. Because of these incredible women, my stay was exceptional, and I will absolutely return to this hotel in the future. Their service made all the difference. THANK YOU!

My mother and I were in Memphis for the holidays to tour Graceland. I picked this particular hotel because of how close it was to the Graceland estate. I do not regret my choice one bit. The room was decent and clean. However, the main star was Ms. Duffie! She was so warm and welcoming to every guest she encountered. When I complimented her she responded with "I just try to treat people the way I would want to be treated".

We only stayed one night, but it was an absolutely enjoyable experience from check-in to check-out. The gal who checked us in was so cheerful and welcoming—it set the tone for a great stay. We also enjoyed some delicious barbecue nearby. Breakfast was wonderful, cafeteria style, and what made it extra special was Duffy in the kitchen. She was such a joy and a bright spot in our morning. Duffy gets five stars from us!

There's an incompetent employee at the front desk named "Dawn" customers should be cautious of. My significant other and I were leaving the hotel through the lobby and she randomly asked my spouse if she wanted any candy. My spouse responded "no thank you". Yet Dawn asked "why not?" My spouse responded why she didn't want any candy. Yet Dawn continously and insisted she received a piece of candy as if she wouldn't take no for an answer or was unable to comprehend the phrase "no thank you". Also Dawn insulted another employee towards my spouse that had nothing to do with anything. She also gave me a item from the concession free of charge earlier that day on Feb.15th between 8am and 10 am. Definitely not someone to be trusted at the front desk. Also please tell security to wear his uniform fully when attending his job at Holiday Inn. Very unprofessional appearance for such a sophisticated place of business. The woman Jazmine who worked at the front desk on Feb. 14th after 3pm was absolutely amazing.
