Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Wichita

Positive: Pros: comfortable bed, close-ish to Tanganyika. Guy at the front desk was nice. AC worked well kept the room cold. Negative: Ratty furniture, black mold in the shower, shower head fell off in my hand, cobwebs on the ceiling, fitted sheet was ripped. Very thin blanket, no extra in room, rust in bathtub, breakfast was AWFUL! No elevator. No hairdryer. So many things!

Hotel had a funky smell to it, toilet was broke and had to keep removing the lid to refil the tank after a flush. Rust in the bath but the beds were clean and comfortable.

When we walked into the property, the entire hotel strongly smelled of curry. The first room we were assigned to had something nasty smeared all over one wall and the water to the toilet was turned off & I attempted to call the front desk from the land line phone in the room, there was no dial tone. I walked to the front desk & was told to just turn the water on at the wall for the toilet. Walked back upstairs to the room, turned the knob but no water. Walked back down to front desk, spoke with the clerk again & she agreed to move us to another room but was extremely concerned about if we had mussed either of the beds. We were moved to another room, but the deadbolt didn't work & I had to pull the door handle up to lift the door enough to get the latch to even catch. Thankfully, the security lock/bar at the top of the door was able to be utilized for our safety. Unfortunately, the TV in the 2nd room did not work. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing stay & we were thankful to only be there one night. We stay in the South Wichita/Haysville area regularly and will make sure we do not book at this property again.

Manager was pleasant , that's the good . The bad was the mouse on our room, didn't stay for the breakfast, kinda nasty looking

For $94 I would think that they would be a little more accommodating.. especially with a $100 deposit. Couldn't help me getting my change back from the vending machine. Whatever. Disappointed, but not surprised. Wouldn't recommend

This Property is very rundown and dated. Carpet linens, curtains, furniture and paint need to be updated. Tub was not clean. Room had an odd smell. We saw a dead mouse out front when leaving. Landscaping not well maintained. Trash around the exterior. Check in process was fine & keys worked well no issues. Breakfast was very basic and what was offered not stocked fully. I had a waffle, then not enough dough for my husband to have one. Location was great - very easy access to interstate. It was pet friendly with lots of grass areas for our dog. But no where to dispose of the poop sacks. We took them to the dumpster instead of inside.

IT WAS HORRIBLE! After driving for a long time . I expected to come to a comfortable room for my girls and I. When I walked into the room. I noticed that there were 3 different doors that were not secure enough. I tried to wash my hands but the handle was broken so I couldn't wash my hands in the sink . My daughter went to the bathroom and she told me that the toilet took a while to flush. When I walked out of the bathroom after checking the toilet, I tripped with the carpet that was lifted up. The tub was dirty and there was hair everywhere near the sink . A couple minutes later, we went to turn on the lights. My daughter got scared because the lights kept flickering on and off. My daughter started to say she was itchy, so I checked under the bedsheets and saw that there were yellow stains on the mattress. So I went to the front desk to tell the lady and guy up there and politely asked her if I could switch rooms and I showed her the videos and the pictures I took of the issues. She said that I was lieing and that my girls probably broke that stuff. I said excuse me and she replied "Yes, you probably broke all that, we don't have that much problems". That's when I asked her if I can get my money back for all the issues. She said "No, you stay or leave but you dont get your money back". I asked for corprets number and she said we'll you have to write it down, she didn't give me a paper or pen. I asked "Can I borrow a pen and paper". She just pointed to a stack of pens by a corner table she had . She was so rude. I ended up leaving. I dont recommended this place AT ALL. If I could give this hotel zero stars I would.
