Auberge NOLA Hostel

This was my first hostel experience and I could not have been happier. It was cleaned everyday, the staff was super helpful, and it seemed to be a magnet for great people from all over the world. For mardi gras they have a tent on one of the major parade routes which was a perfect home base. Just an all around outstanding experience that will be doing again and again.

Definitely come here if you want to meet friendly people and socialize!! So easy to meet others at their nightly patio hang!! Beds were clean and comfy, and the bathrooms were clean despite the older facilities. I loved how they had plenty of clean washcloths available for use. Felt safe and fun here as a solo female traveler!! Owner and staff are amazing and friendly!! DEFINITELY a place to return to 😁

I had a great stay at Auberge New Orleans. I originally booked only for two nights because I thought I wouldn't get enough sleep since it's a party hostel. I planned to party on the weekend and then go to another quiet hostel to sleep it off. However, I ended up keep extending my stay until my very my last day in NOLA. I had some of my best sleeps in any hostel. The hostel has everything you need and it’s in a super quiet neighborhood. It's within walking distance to both the French Quarter and Garden District. They have events every day but make sure quiet hours are at 11 pm. Lastly, a huge shout out to Simon, Dasha, Harmonie, especially Alex and Kat, for all the recommendations and pushing me to do activities to experience the real New Orleans such as the Super Sunday. You guys are the best and made my stay. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting New Orleans

Beds, restroom and kitchen are all clean, I even see the staff cleaned for the day I stayed(only one night)People also friendly and very energetic Plan come again if back NOLA Volunteers do the day check in from 9-5There is an after hour instructions if you are outside that time

Pretty old building with large dorm style rooms, kitchen, music room and great patio. The crowd was young and lively with people organizing different night outings each night. Rate was very reasonable as well. Problem for me was the beds were quite squeaky as were the floorboards so I just couldn’t really sleep. I ended up booking a room in a hotel for the rest of my trip but I think I’m just getting a bit old to enjoy this style of accommodation and would still recommend Auberge for anyone looking for a social experience with reasonable pricing. Note on the location, it is about 1.5miles away from downtown/Bourbon street and I enjoyed the walk. There is also a street car on Charles st which comes every 12 minutes, so it’s very easy to navigate in general.

the room is really clean, bathroom is nice too. my trip was great and this is the best hostel around town!! it’s so easy to go explore nola from here. street car stop is just right down the road and so convenient to go around. i love that Auberge has a room for instruments and a place for movie night!! 😝 I will definitely stay here again for my next NOLA trip!!

I stayed here for 3 days. The place is clean. Every night there are social events in courtyard, where you can meet all your neighbors. There is a quiet hour 11-7 pm, but there is a 24 hour bar down the street. The ac in the dorm is very nice. The place is right next to streetcar, bars and stores. Special shoutout to Yazmine and Felipe, you are very hospitable!
