Wallace Manor Bed and Breakfast

My husband and I spent two nights at Wallace Manor Bed and Breakfast last week at the end of a bike trip on the Ohio to Erie Trail. When I walked in, I thought the place was creepy and dark, but we actually had a lovely stay. We booked the Blair room, and it was very nice with an updated bathroom. The bed was quite comfortable. A delicious breakfast was served both mornings by Daniel, the manager with whom we greatly enjoyed chatting. We also met other cyclists and a young couple who were very friendly.||This bed and breakfast is in a very walkable neighborhood. We had dinner at The Harp one night and Momocho (a truly great Mexican restaurant) the other night.||I highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

Wallace Manor is a beautifully restored historic home with a private bath for each and every suite. Scott is an excellent host and outstanding cook. His breakfasts were delicious and so filling we often didn't eat lunch until late afternoon. The quiet neighborhood, back garden, parlor, library and front room were so comfortable and inviting, I only spent time in my room to sleep and shower. Location is easy access to downtown with about a 10-minute drive. You can even walk to a great Irish pub for dinner and Scott clued us in to some fun things to do. Don't think twice, book this place, and enjoy some R&R on your visit to Cleveland.

We had a wonderful stay at The Wallace Manor Bed & Breakfast. The grand stone house has so much charm and character, yet feels cozy and welcoming. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had all the comforts of home. The location was perfect—close to the beach and in the heart of Ohio City (Cleveland). Our host provided a scrumptious breakfast which varied each morning; a real treat to start the day. Communication with our host was outstanding from start to finish. Private parking was also a big plus. Highly recommend this lovely and reasonably priced place for a relaxing, convenient stay! A+

We had a wonderful stay. Scott was very informative with things to do. The home was amazing and hearing the back story made that much more gratifying. Our room was exceptional, extremely clean and Comfortable. Breakfast served to accommodate our travel plans was also exceptional. Our recent stay at the Wallace Manor was exceptionally good. It's rare when I stay somewhere that has anticipated all my needs, but they did. It was a lovely old house, but not cluttered like so many B&Bs. The bed was very comfortable and the linens and towels were all indulgent. I loved climbing into bed! And the breakfasts were delicious and filling. I especially appreciated the amount of fruit they offered. We were visiting Cleveland for pleasure, nosing around to see some sights, but also explore neighborhoods. Scott was a warm host, offering insights and recommendations when we asked for them. The neighborhood was very walkable and felt safe. I can't say enough to express what a lovely stay it was. We hope to make it back.

This beautiful historic mansion in walkable Ohio City has been expertly restored and furnished by owner and host Scott. Breakfast was delicious, varied and ample. Communication from pre-booking through departure was excellent. Scott is a longtime resident of Cleveland; his recommendations for our first visit were much appreciated. We hope to stay again.

The Wallace Manor Bed and Breakfast was a charming place to stay. The rooms are spectacular, the breakfast was nice, and both Daniel and Scott were charming and accomodating. We enjoyed our stay in this lovely historic home. We highly recommend it if you're ever in Cleveland.
