This beautiful building has a fascinating history, and is run by an impressive couple who make guests feel quite pampered. The unique eclectic décor and elegant furnishings make a stay a real treat. You are greeted with a query as to what you'd like for breakfast, and at what time. It's served in style in an elegant dining room, and it is almost certain to be exactly as you requested. Read how the owners bought a run-down dump of a building inhabited by homeless folk and trained and employed the down-and-out former occupants to renovate it. Read how Henrietta engaged an interior decorator to create uniquely themed rooms - all different - to appeal to a variety of guest tastes. ||The room we stayed in was very affordable, elegant, and supremely comfortable and generously equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location was not as close to attractions as we would have liked, but otherwise everything was perfect. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the Diamonds and Pearls room. The details in this room are beyond amazing! Host very quick to respond. Plenty of hot water for the tub! If there were other guests we did not hear them. Homemade Breakfast is brought to the room and set up for you! The only drawback is the location. The area is a bit run down but no fault of host. Delmar Loop with a lot of restaurant choices is 10 minutes away. Overall a fabulous place to stay!

Hello 👋🏾, We are Tammy & Jay Taylor from Belleville, Illinois! We celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary on 11/26/25 in the Diamond & Pearl Room this was our first bed & breakfast! The owner Ms. Henrietta Taylor is the sweetest hostess, she gave us the history of the house which was built in the 1800’s. The ambiance of the house was beyond words, she served us a breakfast of steak,eggs,rice,biscuits,fruit medley,orange juice & coffee! So many are sleeping on this gem in St. Louis! We will definitely be back because a one time visit wasn’t enough! Much Love & Blessings To All!🤗

Beautiful bed and breakfast ran by a sweet older couple. We stayed in the "Reflections" room and it was lovely! They brought hot breakfast to our room in the morning, it was all around a great experience and we’re wanting to book again in the future.

I picked this place randomly for an overnight trip to St. Louis and I'm glad I did. The B&B is an early 1900's refurbished house with 12 rooms. The room we had was very nice albeit eccentric in decor. The bed was very comfortable and the entire establishment is bright and clean. Some of the larger rooms have their own bath. We got the smallest room so there was a separate bath on the same floor. Breakfast was excellent and served on time. The proprietor, Henrietta is an absolute delight. She took excellent care of us start to finish. We sat down and talked we her for a time right before we departed where she told us the history of the building and showed us a scrap book with the original owner/builder and even ledgers from when it was a boarding house. Overall a delightful stay and we will most definitely be back the next time we are in St. Louis.

This place is amazing! The people are amazing! The rooms are amazing! The food is amazing! Beautiful tile floors, mesmerizing chandeliers, fun colors, beautiful artwork, etc. There are very minor repairs needed here and there in the plaster, but this place is so so SO much nicer than any hotel I've ever stayed in and way more fun. Make sure you read the articles of how Henrietta got started while you're there! The history makes it so much better!

What a unique & hospitable place! Each room has incredibly colorful character. Henrietta was a phenomenal host. She is so kind and treated us like royalty! The breakfasts were delicious and filling. Also, the location was perfect for going to the Delmar Loop, Central West End, and Forest Park. I'm already planning my next trip back!
