There's a lot of great things I could say about this place...it's super clean the rooms are huge and everyone is so nice but Duval...however you spell it ....he is the superstar here. Always smiling always happy and bends over backwards for anyone and everything. He's always amazing. We chose here after we checked it out first and we decided because of him this was the place for us and we have not been disappointed at all. He's a blessing and he definitely makes staying here a thousand times better than it already is.
I was disappointed during my stay. Although the staff were friendly, there are several updates and cleanliness issues needing to be resolved to improve the experience. The room needed a good vacuum when I arrived and some of the furniture (including the mattress) were breaking down and needed replaced. I recommend also assigning people to rooms away from the highway as it got very loud at times, disturbing my sleep. Last note is that higher-quality plates would improve the breakfast. The plates were so cheap that they left a white residue on the food and the table. Not a bad location so close to a grocery store and other towns, but definitely a bit run down.
I had to stay at this hotel twice when the furnace went out at my house. Both times I stayed for a week. My stay here was absolutely great. The employees here are amazing!!!!! They’re very kind and professional. The room was clean and we have access to a laundry room which was very convenient. Also the hotel is located near a lot of stores. Groceries, retail ,gas stations and restaurants are all in close proximity of the hotel which is a plus. Also you get a nice complementary breakfast. All in all i recommend this hotel if your looking for a good price and relaxing stay!
Sandy the "Breakfast Ambassador" was extremely rude. She talked to another employee in the main lobby dining area about guests and employees making guests uncomfortable. She complained that staff on 2nd/3rd shift weren't stocking items, moving tables, etc. very loudly. She also complained to all the guests that my autistic son (4 years old) spilled his cereal onto the carpet and that it was a result of bad parenting. Needless to say, I was very upset at the comments. I had even offered to clean up the mess. There had been a birthday party the night before which she complained about loudly, even though those guests, I walked through the lobby during their event, were extremely polite and not loud at all. She ruined what otherwise was a good experience and will prevent me from recommending or returning to this motel. I reported to the desk staff at checkout and they were very nice. I feel bad for them because this employee is ruining repeat business and I hate to see the bad reviews due to a rude person. I understand service industry jobs are demanding and guests/other employees can be hard to deal with, but there are break rooms. Talking about people in front of guests is extremely unprofessional and unnecessary.
We came down to use the pool and spend the night. Nothing was mentioned at check in but after we got ready for the pool we headed down there and there is a sign saying it's closed for maintenance. Again, nothing at check in and nothing on their website. The rooms are just OK - everything could use cleaning. The breakfast was not great either - my kids wanted donuts, which were stale. The "hot" options looked questionable. The restroom downstairs near the breakfast area was disgusting. I would not come back here and I'm annoyed I wasted my hotel points on this place.
I've stayed at this hotel on two different occasions within the last month of November into December. Both rooms that were given on the third floor were fantastic. Clean, quiet, very comfortable bed, TV and comfort of the room Very reasonably priced and a great location. Bonus is the hotel is quiet and comfortable. Will continue to book and stay here at this sleep inn, Oregon, ohio
The price was okay. Kept having to have the key card reprogrammed. The pool was nasty and not upkept correctly. Rooms are decent but a little run down which can be over looked. Used the couch bed and under the couch was extremely nasty. And the door to outside on the side of the hotel did not lock and latch so anyone could come in if they tried.
