Property looks outdated from the outside, but the recently updated rooms are pretty nice. Very quiet, which was great for our baby. Beds are decently comfy. Some views I’m sure are great, ours was fine. Feels very understaffed and chaotic at times checking in and out or trying to ask a question. Some concierge staff were nice, and some were straight up rude. Location and price are great. Steps from the PATH entrance, which is one stop to the World Trade Center. Good coffee shops all around like Maman. And amazing views of lower Manhattan from right outside (or if you have a room with a view). Parking by the While Foods (6 min walk) is $27 for 24hrs.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch—warm, welcoming, and very professional. The staff went out of their way to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. The location is absolutely unbeatable. Nestled right on the waterfront, the views of the Manhattan skyline were breathtaking—especially during sunrise and at night. It’s also super convenient with easy access to the PATH train, making trips into New York City quick and hassle-free.Our room was clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with large windows that made the most of the stunning views. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful amenities and attention to detail.

The view of Manhattan takes your breath away. It’s amazing. This is the most incredible part of the hotel experience. The rooms are very nice, new, and modern. The service is very good. The buffet-style breakfast is excellent, you pay $34 per person and it’s worth it. The beds and pillows have something… they’re not the most comfortable. But overall, the hotel is recommended, very beautiful, and the view is unmatched.

Unfortunately I couldn’t rate this hotel 5 stars. The room wasn’t exactly as described to me when I called. I was told that I would get a room with two beds and a couch. The room had two double beds and a bench. There was no couch. The bench is against the wall under the tv. You can’t even sit on it to watch tv. The rooms were very small. I was also told I’d have a view of the Empire State Building or the Statue of Liberty. I didn’t have a view of either. I guess if I turned my head all the way to the left out the window than I can catch a glimpse of NYC. Parking is either valet, self parking, or street parking. I was lucky to find street parking, but had to walk almost 10 min to the hotel. I’m sure this hotel is more enjoyable when it’s nicer outside. The outside area to walk around and playground do look enjoyable. The service was not the best for a Hyatt. I had to reach out to the hotel in the middle of the night as I was unable to sleep with the noise of people talking and listening to music in the hallway. I was told that they would send security up and it did quiet down for a little but then continued throughout until about 4am. I woke up very unhappy and had quite a drive home after I checked out. I didn’t eat or drink at the hotel so I can’t say much about that. I may consider going in the warmer weather and giving it a shot again. Let’s see.

I stayed here 3 nights for a work trip and had an excellent experience. The concierge and valets were great at all hours. I had an excellent view from my room of the river. I ate at the bar twice, both times were quite nice and reasonably priced. Best part of staying here was being able to walk anywhere, especially the ferry across to NY.

The room was clean and front desk was awesome. Laura and her team helped us navigate the storm with food and booking an additional day 😀 the area is good due to the Path train being next door. There are some food spots in walking distance but not after 8pm or on the weekends.

The view of the hotel is incredibly amazing! The room is a good size, clean, comfortable but… the toilet paper is like a rice paper. We ask the housekeeper for a different one but is the one the hotel carried, we have to buy our own one. The complementary toiletry items like shampoo, body wash, body cream are Argan oil bare so if you don’t like this smell you should better bring your own. We brought ours. The valet parking is pricey and they offer you a self parking option for Half of the price at a few blocks walking distance. We have to ask for comforters because the beds were just cover with sheets and even though the room feels warm it was winter and it feels cool. For us it works, we’re 2 adults in our early 50’s and my parents in their early 70’s. We may come back but definitely knowing what we should bring to be comfortable.
