avid hotel Fort Wayne North, an IHG Hotel

The beds were comfy and clean, the hotel staff were amazing and accommodating. My personal preferences in a hotel were absent to a degree, there was a mini frig ( smallest one made) one ice machine in the hotel, downstairs, one microwave downstairs, a basic continental breakfast options, which were sufficient. Every request was exceeded and exceeded expectations. No pool/spa, no laundry area, If you’re staying a night or two it’s perfect. We stayed 5 nights. Some of those extras would have been nice. A lot of restaurants and shops with in 1/4 to 1/2 walk.

We had an amazing girls trip. The hotel was conveniently located a short drive to the coliseum. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. And many different options to choose from. But the best part was the hotel front desk and multi task worker Goldie. What a wonderful and caring host. She really made our stay so nice. Thank you Goldie❤️

The first thing we noticed was how clean it smelled when we walked in. Check-in was quick and easy. Our room wasn't very big, but it was comfortable. It was nice and quiet. The breakfast had a lot of options and we were satisfied with what was available. Overall, no complaints!

Amazing experience! The minute I entered the Hotel I was greeted at the front desk by "Goldie" the GM. I was thanked for being a IHG member and I was able to get the floor and room type I requested. This Hotel is immaculate even the elevator smells fresh. There is no carpet in the rooms so there’s no smelly funk. The bathrooms are clean and the food offer for breakfast is uniquely different than any IHG property I have stayed at there is 24 seven fresh ground Costa Rican coffee that is delicious. Goldie suggested great restaurants for me and literally went out of her way to be kind and helpful with anything that I needed. I will stay there again and look forward to the coffee and the kindness of Goldie the GM outstanding property. Thank you for a great stay. !

First impressions greeted like family from a sweet, sweet spirit. Goldie made us feel welcomed like we were walking into her house. The only disappointment I had was the pool was closed. No hairdryer in the room, no microwave in the room. Goldie made those things irrelevant with her kindness.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay. My experience began with being assigned a room that had a strong odor and a visibly dirty bathroom. After requesting a change, the second room was no better; the shower floors were dirty and the tile was chipped/damaged. Furthermore, the in-room amenities are unusable. The TV in the second room has such severe static that it is impossible to watch any channels. To top it off, the staff interactions felt unwelcoming. Despite having checked in and spoken to the front desk earlier, I was interrogated about whether I was a guest and asked for my room number in a confrontational manner. I moved rooms to resolve these issues, but the lack of cleanliness and basic functioning equipment persisted. I am looking for a full refund as the property did not meet basic hospitality or sanitary standards.

Diamond members late check out is 1130am. Front desk told me that all rooms need to be stripped down in order to clean the hotel. They don't understand that if they worked on my room last I would have been able to check out after 1pm. I also asked for them to shovel a 3 foot patch of snow 2 inches thick, on the sidewalk, this task was not completed in 3 days. Obviously SAFETY is not an issue.
