What an incredible experience I had staying at The e Boulevard Inn. The Innkeepers, Mitch and Roni, were warm and welcoming. The Inn was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean with vases of fresh flowers throughout. My room was comfortable and inviting with every attention to detail considered from the fluffy towels, the bath bomb, the warm lighting, the decor, and the comfortable sitting area. I loved the front porch of the house with a porch swing and a comfortable outdoor seating area where I sipped my morning coffee from the well stocked coffee bar. The breakfast was abundant and decadent. The afternoon wine and cheese was not only delicious but also provided a wonderful hour of positive connection with other guests as well as another Innkeeper, Jeffrey, who told me the history of the building. I felt spoiled at every turn. Finally, thank you to Ashley and Lindsey who served breakfast my final morning with warmth and a smile. I appreciate the ever present kind hospitality. Thank you, Mitch and Roni, for creating this beautiful space that I was able to call home for the weekend during my visit to Richmond.

We chose the Boulevard Inn for its location at the center of RVA's cultural universe. A quick walk to VMFA, the quirky stores of Cary Town and the small neighborhood restaurants we love. We'll come back for the outstanding service and attention to detail Mitch and Roni bring to the space. The room was a perfect balance of luxe and comfort. Our breakfast was outstanding compared to the usual B&B fare. So nice to relax in the library upstairs after a busy day.

My partner and I absolutely LOVED our stay here. This place is great for couples but I'd suggest it even for solo travelers. The building is maintained *so* well... beautifully preserved and full of history, yet updated just enough to feel modern, comfortable, and thoughtfully refreshed. It’s the perfect blend of old and new. And nestled in a great area for visiting Richmond. Every amenity was high-end, especially the bathroom products. From the plush towels to the soaps and lotions, everything felt luxurious and high quality. What stood out most was the design. You can tell the owners have an incredible eye for detail and curation. Every choice—from the china in the dining room to the books in the library to the bedding and decor—felt intentional and genuinely cared for. It made the entire space feel warm, personal, and beautifully put together! And special shoutout to Jeffrey who made the stay filled with warm hospitality and great Virginia recs :') Couldn’t recommend this B&B more. I can’t wait to come back!!!

Jeffrey greeted and showed us around the Inn. He shared interesting tidbits and had a wonderful sense of humor. The James room is dark and moody and maybe the coziest room I’ve ever stayed in. Exceptional linens and very comfortable bed. Lindsay was our host for breakfast and she was incredibly kind and efficient (she was running the show solo as the snow had delayed her co worker). She prepared eggs, assisted with the coffee machine, and set tables … all with a smile. Thank you for starting our day on such a nice note, Lindsay. Overall, five stars. Such a nice experience.

My wife and I really enjoyed our first stay here. The building was decorated beautifully for the holiday season. The room, kitchen, dining room, were all very clean & well maintained. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. For breakfast, there were hot egg options, such as frittata, quiche, or stata, along with fruit and pastries. We would highly recommend staying here while in the Richmond area.

A beautifully restored and furnished home with immaculately clean rooms. .our room was small, but had a very comfortable king size bed , terrific bathroom and lovely eclectic furnishings. We just returned from a 3 night visit to Richmond for a family gathering and were lucky enough to obtain a room in this wonderful inn.|The staff and serve was amazing, great breakfasts with pastries, fresh fruit, and egg dish offerings.

After my fiancé asked me the most important question of our lives—"Will you marry me?"—he surprised me with a stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast. From the moment we arrived, it felt absolutely magical. The property itself is stunning, blending rich history with thoughtfully chosen modern amenities that make the experience both timeless and comfortable. The next morning, we were treated to delicious breakfasts that were as memorable as the setting itself. The staff’s kindness and genuine hospitality made us feel truly welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. This bed and breakfast will forever hold a special place in my heart as the backdrop to one of the most meaningful moments of my life. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect setting for such a life-changing occasion.
