Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa

Room are really clean, got a nice view, really close to the beach, a nice place to stay away from the city, I feel like you on a vacation.

What an amazing location on Huntington Beach! We stayed here for 4 nights as an extended stay after a conference. Woke up every morning to beautiful ocean views with the mountains of Catalina Island in the distance. I loved the massage I received at the Pacific Waters Spa onsite and spent wonderful hours at the pool, where the service was quick and friendly. The rooms were fine, not plush, but clean and comfortable. We loved the balcony. Overall the property is beautifully landscaped and overseen by a staff that we found very helpful and welcoming - not something you can take for granted in even the finest properties around the country.

We had a very great time at this hotel. It is walking distance from everything that you might want to see near the Huntington Beach pier. There are lots of amenities included. The spa is good. There’s an adult only hot tub area. The restaurants on site are OK. The Starbucks store has a great selection of food, snacks, drinks, and anything else you could possibly want. There’s a cute little area where you could buy souvenirs. There are fountains all over the property. Nearly every room on the property has a good view. Some rooms have their own fire pit. Most rooms have their own balcony (if not all). The shampoo and conditioner is vegan. The bed and pillows are nice. We have quite enjoyed our stay.

The Pros: This property is big and well-maintained. It has a bridge that you can access the beach. They also offer chairs and umbrellas for free that you can take to the beach with you. Nice touch! The balcony rooms are great: Very clean and with all necessities. Noise level was minimal. There are also several food options: you can dine at the restaurant (has really good breakfast), but you can also walk down he breezeway for more quickeats and the morning latte. I thought it was a good mix of able to have some flexibility. Also, customer service from start to finish was exceptional. The Cons: There are A LOT of kids [in the pool and elsewhere ] (at least on the weekend). I wish there was either a separate adults only pool, or at least a pool in the spa area for adults (I wouldn't mind paying for spa treatment just for this). They do however have a jacuzzi area for adults, but on a warm day, a pool i justified. If you are a family looking for a nice, clean fun place to stay that has enough finesse for children yet still enough for the adult, this will work for you. If you're looking for a grown-up getaway (I only went with my partner) you might be just a bit disappointed. I do think maybe coming during the week would be a better balance of adults. Lastly, not too excited for $60 per night to park your car. That's often more than San Francisco.

We had an outstanding stay at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa. From the moment we arrived, the property felt welcoming, upscale, and beautifully maintained. The architecture and landscaping are stunning, and the entire resort has a relaxing coastal vibe. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with great attention to detail. Housekeeping did a fantastic job, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. The beds were extremely comfortable, which made it easy to truly relax and recharge. The pool area is excellent, with plenty of seating and a great atmosphere for both families and couples. Being able to easily walk across to the beach is a huge plus, and the views of the ocean and sunsets are incredible. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, professional, and helpful. You can tell they genuinely care about providing a great guest experience. Overall, this resort strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway or a fun beach vacation, this is a fantastic choice. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Huntington Beach.

We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa. The location is excellent, with an easy walk to the beach and the pier, which made getting around effortless and enjoyable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the sheets were some of the best we’ve experienced—truly made for great sleep. When we had a noise-related issue, the staff addressed it incredibly quickly and handled it with genuine care, including a thoughtful gesture of removing a fee, which we really appreciated. Both the bell hop and front desk staff were fantastic, offering great recommendations for on-site dining and being consistently friendly and helpful. The pool area was extremely well maintained, clean, and inviting. Overall, this was a relaxing and well-managed stay with standout service. We would absolutely return and recommend it to others looking for comfort, great service, and a prime beachside location.

We recently stayed here and a lovely experience. The location is beautiful and the hotel grounds are well maintained. The amenities this hotel offers are excellent and it has direct access to the beach from the hotel. The hotel has decorated for the holidays, and was just the right touch. It gave the hotel a festive feeling. Our room was clean and spacious and housekeeping did a great job keeping our rooms cleaned. The staff was professional, helpful, and customer service oriented. We dined at the Watertable restaurant and had a similar experience. The breakfast buffet here is delicious with many food selections. The restaurants at the resort offer tasty cuisine and yummy cocktails. We absolutely loved the cocktails at Pete's Sunset Grille and how they had decorated the restaurant/bar. We had done our booking through the Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts program and the hotel honored everything that was included in our booking. From the early check-in, to the hotel room upgrade, the overall experience was professional and pleasant. We will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future and highly recommend this beautiful resort.
