Beach Inn - A Huntington Beach Motel

Decent but you get what you pay for. I’ve stayed here in the past and recently, it’s gone a bit downhill. First, the bright white LED lights in the parking lot, the room, the bathroom are just a terrible choice for a hotel. Awful. It makes the whole experience feel like you’re in a doctor’s office. Use warm color lighting in the rooms. Terrible choice. Second, half the towels were dirty and stained. Yuck. Third, the bedding is itchy and while clean, it’s low grade scratchy sheets and a microfiber comforter which is just horrendous. Fourth, the staff are friendly and that’s good but it’s bare bones. No water in the rooms. No tissues. The toilet was broken, the toiletries are awful. Look, it’s a decent place to crash for the night but it’s not more than that. Truth. But good luck to them on fixing minor things that can improve the overall experience.

Lovely motel. The rooms are big and updated. The couple working here is sooo nice!!! We had a beautiful stay. Couldn’t hear neighbors next door or downstairs. And the woman let us check out a few rooms to see which one we liked the best. She is really thoughtful and provides great customer service!!! The only thing is the loud people coming in at 3 am and being obnoxious until 4 am both weekend evenings. Also, there should be an allocated spot to smoke in the wayyy back of the place, as smoke was getting in our room. And smokers littered cigarette buds in the flower beds. Overall it was a nice stay.

When i saw this hotel on Expedia app it listed it as an "excellent"choice. I didn’t think twice and booked it because it was affordable and close to where i was. Check in went smooth but once i got to my room i noticed a lot of details that certainly do not make this an excellent accommodation. The main problem was the constant noise that lasted well past 3am. I slept poorly because i heard so many noises from outside. I will never stay here again or recommend it.

Really great place especially for the money. The lady at the lobby desk was unbelievably kind and was super accommodating to my mom, who had just gotten out of surgery the day we checked in. The room itself was great too - big, recently renovated, microwave and fridge, and a great bathroom fitted to meet and exceed ADA compliance. I was skeptical when I saw it called a motel but this is probably the best motel I've ever stayed in. The only complaint either of us really have is that the rooms need blackout curtains! There are bright fluorescent lights on outside the motel all night, so bring an eye mask if that bothers you. If it doesn't you'll be fine.

Great experience, had to book a stay due to the recent rainy storms and feeling unsafe to drive home. Had a late check in and my booking was approved right away. Rooms were very clean and just what we needed. Loved the parking too !

I enjoyed my 2 weeks here. Nice people both from the motel side and residence. Spacious room, clean, no insects or bugs. Great air conditioner.

In and out burgers and Carls JR located walking distance.as well as a Walmart. Room newly renovated with tile bathrooms and plenty of hot water when you come back from the beach for multiple people to shower before dinner. Huntington Beach, Newport, and Balboa Island 10-15 minutes away with Huntington Beach the closest at 3 miles. Parking was plentiful and very well lit, we could always see our car from the room and easy to get stuff into and out of the car. . Felt very safe. On site staff who live there and are SO very nice and helpful when we needed things.
