Huntington Beach Inn

The location is perfect but the hotel is chaos! The staff are very poorly trained. The place has been a building site since 2022 but you only find this out when you arrive! Buildings working changing pipes over customers cars! Our rooms was dingy and dirty. Unclean windows with view overlooking a broken roof When we asked to change rooms we were told we had to pay an additional $300 for the same room with a tiny balcony! I'm sure this hotel has changed hands and the new owners have run it down I to the ground. Such a shame.. Happy to provide more details to individuals as needed.

The room we stayed in was fixed up nice. Not the cleanest room I’ve been in though. Front desk did allow us to check our bags before check in which was nice. It took multiple calls to get anyone to answer before we checked in. Also be aware there is construction going on at the hotel and next door. The location is awesome though. I would stay there again.

Everything was great! The front desk staff was very nice and understanding when I had a personal mishap! The room was comfy had a fridge, microwave, tv everything we needed for a nice weekend getaway at the beach! Location is Amazing! The beach area right in front of the hotel was not as crowded as closer to the pier. Right on the water, downtown Huntington was right up the street. Very walkable and lots to do 🙂 I recommend this hotel greatly! Got my room deposit back within a few days after check out, had an amazing stay!!

You really need to replace those mattresses, bed frame and pillows. The bed was very squeaky and the bed/pillows made my neck/upperback hurt. Was expecting a beach front view when opening the curtain and windows, not someone’s backyard. There shouldn’t be a parking fee if we paid to stay there. It should already be included. I’ve stayed at several places and this is the only one that's charged a parking fee separately. The elevator took forever, longer than it should have for 1 floor that we were taking. There's is construction going on.

This Hotel was super close to the Huntington Beach pier and Dukes all of the shopping places etc…Great service and great price! Our room was a King bed on the 3 rd floor, remodeled with a great view of the Ocean/Beach! Nice balcony too! It was our Anniversary weekend and we had a beautiful time!!!

Absolutely awful hotel. Smells like cigarettes and there’s absolutely nothing luxury about the rooms to warrant a $400 stay for one night. |They did not give us our security deposit back but claimed they did and told us we just need to talk to the bank. |The manager was extremely rude when I called him on the day of our check-in and I can see many people had the same issue with this. |There are many other options for stays in Huntington Beach, I’d highly advise against giving them your business

I booked a room at the inn through their website so I could choose the type of room I wanted. I opted for a room with two beds and a balcony. From the balcony, I had a beautiful view of the ocean. The view from the window was of a nice street, 8th Street. The hotel is newly renovated, with no unpleasant smells, and the shower is modern and beautiful. One thing that surprised me was that the hot water in the sink operates differently than usual – it takes a little getting used to. The shower has both a rain head and a handheld shower, which is very convenient for washing everywhere. The room has engineered wood floors, which were very clean and not sticky. It also had a fridge. The internet was super fast, and the TV was new and large. The remote worked well, and if you bring your Roku stick or Amazon Fire Stick, you can easily watch your own programs. The elevator has a large window with an ocean view, which I found to be the most beautiful feature. The reception staff were very friendly and polite. Parking is in a garage underneath the building, costing $15 on weekdays (probably $25 on weekends, though I’m not sure). One night with parking cost us $176, which I think is an amazing price for a place right on the beach. There's a 7-Eleven nearby with good coffee, and the main street and pier are a 4-6 minute walk, which is very pleasant. Between this hotel and one that costs $400 a night, I’d choose this one because with the savings, I can enjoy meals at restaurants and cover the cost of gas for coming to Huntington Beach. The beds were new, the sheets were clean, and there was no motel-like smell. It felt more like a hotel, with new carpeting in the hallway. Our room was located far from the elevator. The AC and heater were both quiet and worked well, and they were also new. There was a small learning curve with the digital thermostat – that’s how new everything is! If the prices stay the same, I will definitely stay at this hotel in the future. I had a very good night’s sleep with no noise whatsoever.
