Berrodin Bed & Breakfast

My wife and I recently stayed one night at the Berrondin Bed & Breakfast for a short getaway, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, Louie made us feel comfortable and welcomed. He is incredibly personable and thoughtful, and it really shows in how he runs the B&B. The entire place was immaculately clean—and I mean everything. The rooms, common areas, kitchen, dining room, even the driveway. The driveway was shoveled and salted, the hot tub was freshly shocked and ready for us, and he even provided some of the nicest robes to wear to and from the hot tub, which was such a nice touch. Before booking, I spoke with Louie to confirm the hot tub was available and to see if any other guests would be there. We were lucky enough to have the entire place to ourselves, which made the night even more special. The layout of the kitchen and dining room was very well thought out and added to the cozy, comfortable feel of the stay. Another highlight was how knowledgeable Louie is about Akron and its history—he clearly takes pride in the city and enjoys sharing that with his guests. Overall, the experience was relaxing, enjoyable, and exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better night away and will absolutely be coming back anytime we need an escape.

Berrodin was amazing! My husband surprised me with a little night away from home to Louie’s BnB. As soon as we walked in Louie i introduced himself, showed us around the house, and captivated us with the wealth of knowledge he knew on the history of Akron and Ohio. His whole dining room is full of pamphlets for activities, dining, and adventures to do in the area. We stayed in a cozy bedroom, had the pleasure of spending some time in the hot tob, and ate some breakfast treats in the morning before we left. Louie is so kind and my husband and i felt extremely safe in his care. We will definitely be going back!

Louie was an extremely knowledgeable and kind host, with a wealth of information about the Akron area. The rooms were super comfy, clean and cozy, and the whole house is full of amenities! He has gone to great lengths to make it as hospitable and welcoming as possible. As a single woman travelling, I think it is important for me to stress that I felt EXTREMELY SAFE with him.

Very gracious host and very comfortable stay. Louie was a great conversationalist and was very knowledgeable about many topics and Akron itself. He gave me 2 guidebooks to help familiarize myself with the city of Akron. The room itself was spacious and very clean, and the bathroom was neat and clean as well. He offered a variety of healthy snack options along with hard boiled eggs for breakfast. I would recommend to anyone staying in this area to stay in this hotel. You won’t regret it!

I stayed during the holidays with my son. The house is cozy, clean, and peaceful. There were plenty of options for breakfast, including healthy options, and some quick grab and go options. The host, Louie, is friendly and very helpful. He also has lots of information about things to do in the area as well as different artwork and mementos around the house that represent Akron. I am an Akron native and I will definitely be back to stay here again!

Louie’s place was a perfect fit for what we needed. Walking distance to good food, and the house is clean and well kept. It’s not a hotel, so if that’s what you need - be aware. Louie himself was informative and kind, and we had some fun talks ranging from local Akron lore to spirituality. Thanks Louie!

Berrodin’s B&B was a wonderful experience. Right at arrival, we were welcomed into a colorful, comfortable, casual environment. The room was very comfortable. Louie adds amenities that are very thoughtful like a fan in the bedroom and shampoo, etc. in the bedroom.
